We decided on a last minute long weekend to Anglesey, we happened across this hotel, the food was of a decent quality, beer was well kept (although a bit pricey) the decor is a bit on the dated side but it was clean, the young couple who are running the place at the moment are doing a sterling job, nothing... We arrived at the hotel and ordered food, well at least tried to!! My wife ordered the gammon, there was none,so she asked for the chicken breast,we were told that they were out if this also! Eventually my wife ended up settling for a jacket potato with cheese and beans, which turned up cold and the potato solid in the middle. My wife... More

Myself and my partner booked for two nights at the Plas Glanrafon, We stayed on a Bed and Breaskfast basis. The room we occupied although basic was clean and comfortable. The host's Jeff & Steff have only just taken over the Hotel and are planning to do some updating of rooms in the closed season. they were both very welcoming.... More

We visited this hotel because I stayed here as a kid 40 years ago and I wanted to see how the place looked now. Unfortunately, we found the hotel was dingy, dirty and served overpriced, very poor quality food. I can safely say this was one of the worst meals I have eaten in any hotel/restaurant I've ever been to.... More

Stayed to two nights, booked last miniute, new owners very down to earth and accomodating. Kids enjoyed the break. Hotel rooms basic, but clean. Wish the owners all the luck in the world with their new buisiness.

What a lovely place to stay for any ages. Since a young couple took over about 8 months ago the Glanraffon has become a great place to stay and eat in. There is good food, very clean but basis rooms, excellent service, and a good family feel about it. It is also dog friendly. Any one that stayed 12 months... More

My husband and I have just returned from an easter stay at the Glanrafon Hotel in Anglesey. The rooms are quite basic but very clean. We stayed on a room only basis, as they have just reopened the accommodation. We were informed that the young couple in charge have just recently took over the pub. They seem to be doing... More

I have stayed at the Glanrafon several times over the past 5 years and noticed that it was going down hill about 12 months ago. Even so i decided to give it a second chance last weekend when visiting family in the area. When i arrived on the off chance a room maybe available i was very pleasantly surprised when... More

This is the first hotel I've ever walked out on in eight years of travelling. When I got there I was told to pay the full bill up front, which I guess is not unusual. The problem is that the landlord and myself agreed £35 a night over the phone and when I got there his wife changed it to... More
