We stayed here on the first night of a three day bike ride across the North Wales coast and were delighted with our choice. We stayed in the Tapestry room overlooking the Menai Straights. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated and very spacious, as was the bathroom. The house itself is also beautifully decorated with a comfortable lounge for... more

We stayed in the 'Sampler' room, which does not have the views that you get in the two front bedrooms, however, the room was furnished to a very high standard with luxurious bedding, towels and bathrobes. Unlike the two front rooms which some reviewers have said need soundproofing the Sampler was very quiet (and you can get a side view... more

On arrival, Liz, the owner made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to the tapestry room which was large and very comfortable with wooden paneling on the walls giving the room a warm and cozy feeling. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh berry fruits and served around a table... more

Despite being on Anglesey for a work related trip our stay at Cleifiog made it feel more like a refreshing and relaxing holiday. The house has a lovely atmosphere and the attention to detail alone qualifies it for a 5 star rating. We stayed in the 'pattern room' which had fabulous views over the menai and snowdonia. The room itself... more

We had a miserable experience at a B and B in Harlech called Castle Cottage, which we would never recommend. So it was lovely to rediscover the joys of a well run, friendly and welcoming Bed and Breakfast. THe room we had was lovely, the owner very kind and she even gave us some bacon to put in our net... more

Came to stay for a friend’s Wedding for the weekend. Was met by our hostess who was warm and friendly. She even offered where to dine and where not to. The Brasserie in the town is really good. We booked the Tapestry room, which is a room that looks out to the front of the property. The pine paneling, the... more

Beaumaris is an attractive part of Anglesey, and Cleifiog is well located, just across the road from the sea (Menai Strait) with views of boats and Snowdonia, with all the town facilities within 5 minutes walk. It is in a street of attractive older houses. The bedroom and guest living room were comfortable and relaxing, with wood panelling, hung with... more

Beautifully renovated house right on the sea front overlooking the broader parts of the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. We stayed in the Tapestry Room, named after the originals hanging on the wood panelled walls. The attention to detail was superb. The proprietor, Liz, puts much effort into looking after her guests, and it shows. In February the sash windows could... more

What a treat to stay here. After staying in all sorts of accomodation through Europe and Great Britain we arrived at this beautiful B & B hoping that what we saw on the website was right. It sure was. Liz is a wonderful host who produced afternoon tea for us on arrival even though she had just come from the... more

It is set at the edge of the town of Beaumaris a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The view from our bedroom , Tapestry , was fantastic of the Snowdon range and indeed once the clouds cleared Snowdon 's peak could be seen in all its glory.Liz's welcome was great - fresh milk for a welcomed pot... more
