As booked, sea view room - this was opposite the Pier and Lifeboat Station, with views along the coast from Conway to Bangor - brilliant . All staff( Manager/Reception staff/Bar Staff/Waiters & Waitresses/Cleaners/CHEF ( didn't see... More

Stayed here again (18 months after the first stay) and it is still a very lovely place. The staff are friendly and attentive including particularly the young lady who served us in the Bistro on shrove Tuesday and despite not being on the menu pursuaded the chef to make my wife a pancake for dessert because that's what she fancied.... Attending a charity ball with a set menu for the meal, you are sure it is not going to amount to anything much on the food front. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, brilliant and efficient service as well as comfortable, relaxed surroundings. All in all a venue to be recommended to anyone else planning a big event.

Anytime I go to Anglesey, I always make it my business to go to this hotel for something to eat! Again I have to say the food is lovely and scrumptious! The service was impeccable. If you have the opportunity come in and try either their coffee shop area or the bistro! The good thing about this hotel is that... More

Booked one night stay on the 13 Feb, 2015, paid extra for a sea view room (priceless and spectacular), the room we booked was a king size bed with B&B. On arrival we were greeted with very friendly and helpfull staff, got to the room and were rewarded with our own sea view suite, bonus. Breakfast was spot on in... More

Some accommodation you stay in because it's convenient for the place you're visiting, other's because it fits your budget; the Bulkeley is a place you come to for a special occasion when you want faultless service, a deep comfortable mattress, the smell of newly-polished brass as you push the revolving door and the atmosphere of old world charm that only... We visited this hotel for Sunday lunch last weekend. We were staying in a holiday cottage close by and thought we'd give it a try. Very glad we did. It was lovely. The roast beef was soft and just melted in the mouth. The desert was different from the norm and delicious. Would definitely return.

What a gem of a hotel! We have just had a fantastic 2 night break at this traditional hotel which is full of character and loved every minute. The customer service from all the staff was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. The lounge, with its wonderful leather sofas and chairs with roaring fire was a delight.... More

We first stayed at 'The Bulkeley Hotel' (or 'The Bulkeley Arms', as it was then), for our honeymoon in 1978. We've just enjoyed a return visit to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. We were worried about getting there because of the recent snow, but were offered the option to change our dates free of charge. An incredibly kind gesture as... More
