I have to say have been coming to this hotel for a drink and something to eat for several years and on this occasion my dog had cut its paw! Paul who was on the reception was so helpful with helping us find a vet And then gave us directions to the Vet's! I have to say people like that... More

Although we did not stay overnight at this hotel, we used the coffee shop and the hotel restaurant whilst enjoying a day out on Anglesey, and would certainly like to return. The hotel has a traditional comfortable feel to it, with a pleasant Reception area, spacious lounges with large leather chairs, and several places to eat including the coffee shop,... More

We have just spent a very nice night at the hotel following a dinner in the function room. We thoroughly enjoyed the food at dinner and the breakfast was also excellent with plenty of cold and hot choices. Staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is a little tired in places but I find that quite endearing, they are also... More

The hotel is positioned over looking the menai straits and snowdonia in the middle of the town.the rooms were excellent (go for a sea view, you will not be disappointed) the breakfast were rather good with plenty of choice from cooked to continental.the staff were very polite and very attentive to detail. Cannot fault this hotel ,good on price.

Stayed for one night on a romantic break which was spoilt by the tired facilities. Bath tiny, shower had no power and fluctuated from boiling to cold without change to the control. Old fashioned fitted hair dryers. (on asking friendly staff delivered a travel one which was better). A super spot for access to the Menai Straits and the town.... More

The charity I organise events for decided to use the Bulkeley Hotel for our AGM and as a base for some events on Anglesey. We found the whole team helpful as could be, and they offered us a very good group rate indeed. The hotel is quirky and individual and as far removed from bedroom factories as you can imagine.... Stayed here for a group function. We sadly had a room overlooking the inner yard, but the room itself was generally ok. Others in sea facing rooms confirmed they were lovely and we will book one of those for a future stay. This is not a boutique hotel but nor is it fusty, and is rightly proud of its' history.... More

Called here for a light lunch and tea/coffee.The drinks came but we were still waiting over 25 mins for two rounds of sandwiches. The sandwiches were very nice and came with a side salad ,but unfortunately no cutlery was offered or cruet .We had to go and search for these.
