Stayed for one night & was off early in the morning, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room we had in the townhouse was the 'chocolate' room, really spacious - couldn't fault it! Would definitely recommend! Pillows were too soft for my liking but I didn't ask for others so can't complain.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in the Olde Bulls Head, we hadn't visited since 2008. We stayed in a room called Mr Stiggins in the main building, a very comfortable room with a large bathroom. We had two excellent meals in the Brasserie where the food is very good and the service excellent (waiters and waitresses all young,... More

We have just returned from 2 fantastic days at Ye Olde Bulls Inn and what a wonderful stay. Beautiful room - we stayed in the general mytton suite, fabulous roll top bath and amazingly comfortable bed. Fantastic friendly staff in particular Heledd and Gareth who went the extra mile consistently. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening and it... More

Myself and my wife stayed at the bull for 3 days, we were actually booked into The Townhouse which is just across from the main building. We arrived after a long journey to book in at reception, we where surprised when a young housekeeper arrived to show us to our room after a call from reception. All staff at the... More

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room, we were in the Townhouse, a new development in a spectacular old Beaumaris Townhouse across the road from the main building, was beyond superb, comfortable, roomy, fab ensuite bathroom We ate in the Brasserie. Great food, well priced and a good selections of wine. The staff were again helpful and caring.... More

We visited to see what the tariff was and to get a drink. I stood at the bar for approx 5 mins no one came, so I went for a walk to the back of the pub to find two staff chatting away. Fair comment no one was in bar but they are not going to be if they cannot... More

We only had one night. It was pouring rain with gale force winds when we arrived but that was our day in Wales and we had to make the best of it. There was parking in the interior court and we managed to find a spot that was covered. Our room was the Marchioness, which overlooked the main street. An... More

The excellent bit: perfect dessert of apple and lime cheesecake in the restaurant. The average bits: dinner starter rather dull and turbot main tasty but a bit overcooked; service at breakfast slow and the scrambled eggs dry. The poor bit: my friend booked a particular room but they claimed no record of this so we ended up in a smaller... More

Thought it was going to be an average hotel. No idea that it was steeped in history, built in 1472. The loung was absolutely beautiful with an original fire place. Gorgeous furniture and lamps. Dont think they show that on trip adviser, we where stunned. We stayed over the road in the Newtown, the rooms are all very contempory. Our... More
