Revisited The Bullhead after a few years. Our first visit was one rainy cold November night. We stumbled in the front door to a roaring fire,we then proceeded up stairs to the lovely quaint restaurant and had one of the best meals ever.Superb service. Wind on a few years.the place looked very familiar with a few additions. It was Sunday so the restaurant... More

Only stayed over one night, Sunday 23rd Aug as a birthday treat (2nd night not available) but was very impressed with the room. The décor was lovely and modern in an old environment. The bed was lovely and comfortable with crisp new bedding. However, the shower over the bath was a BIG let-down. If I say it trickled, that's being... More

Nice location but overpriced for the standard of accommodation. We stayed in the townhouse in the Fuschia room which was ok, a standard double which I found to be quite small. No milk in the room which as very disappointing after a long journey, had black tea. Did not like the frosted glass in the bathroom which modern hotels seem... More

From the antique comforts of the old inn the the upmarket beautifully designed modern Townhouse this hotel leaves nothing to chance. The room service breakfasts are to die for. The dining choices are outstanding!

Stayed here in July and returning in a couple of weeks, we enjoyed it so much. It will be our third stay. The rooms in the main Inn are quaint but with modern facilities and good ensuite bathrooms and products. Very clean with comfy beds! Breakfast is very good with lots of choice including cooked. My partner loved the kippers.... More

The brasserie does not take bookings and is family friendly so we arrived at 12 and got a table for 5. Nice fresh food though pricey at £6 for a kids main meal with no drink or pud and £16 for dressed crab and £14 for the roast. I would have expected at least 2 courses for these prices particularly... Stayed here principally due to its "dog friendy" policy - although it became clear that this applies to its less good rooms - mainly over the bar and in our case right next door to the "Loft Restaurant" - which meant sleep before midnight was pretty much impossible. Room was small and a bit old fashioned - and the bed... More

Lovely old pub/hotel in the centre of Beaumaris with a traditional pub and well appointed bedrooms. Our bedroom was comfortable, very clean with a spacious bathroom. Excellent and modern coffee and tea making facilities. The evening meal in the Loft restaurant was superb with a very good selection of food and wine all served in an immaculate dining room. Breakfast... More

Stayed for one night & was off early in the morning, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room we had in the townhouse was the 'chocolate' room, really spacious - couldn't fault it! Would definitely recommend! Pillows were too soft for my liking but I didn't ask for others so can't complain.
