Loved Loved Loved the pub. Old style, great decor, friendly staff. Friends stayed in the Townhouse (just gorgeous) - I stayed in the old building (wanted character). I don't recommend it, the pub went on into the night. I went to the front desk, they moved me to a room further away from the pub and it was better, I... More

We stayed in a double Townhouse room on a two night dinner bed and breakfast deal. This included one meal in the Bistro (£25 allowance) and one in the Loft restaurant. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable and was quiet at night. The breakfast, food in the bistro and Loft was delicious and the service attentive without being... More

We stayed at the town house, the room was lovely clean and quiet, would stay again. The pub is a rare site these days, really traditional and cosy. The meal we had in the loft was beautiful, iv been a veggie for many years and have never had food as nice as the loft, beautiful. The waiting on staff were... More

Ye Old Bull's Head Inn and indeed its contemporary cousin the Townhouse are very old buildings, dating back to the 1550s. Having visited them a number of times before, it is interesting to note the shortcomings amidst the successes. In the Inn, rooms are older and creakier and some seem a little tired in decor and bathrooms. We have stayed... More

Stayed at this hotel at the end of October for a business trip. All I can say is your money is better spent elsewhere! £105 for a night of absolute noise, errors and rudeness! Hotel isn't worth this kind of money I'm afraid! Stayed in North Wales for a business trip on a Friday night. Naturally you can understand a... More

Lovely hotel with lots of history. The staff were excellent. The bar is an amazing area and the restaurant upstairs is excellent, some of the best food I've had in a while. The food was so tasty and well presented. The room was adequate and well set out. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a lovely stay. No parking is the... More

On Sunday evening three of our party decided to go for the '21 Day Dry Aged Rib Eye Steak' and chips...we asked for it Medium-rare...it was cooked correctly, But it was Chewy & Stringy - Not Good for £21 Each...When I complained to the waitress she said she'd pass our comments back to the kitchen....this was the last I heard...no... We've stayed here before and it ticks all the boxes for comfort and service. Previously we stayed in the rooms away from the pub and I would recommend this, this time we were in the pub itself and the noise from the road wasn't awful but we were woken up early morning by a car horn (not the hotel's fault... PARKING We have stayed here twice, the first time a few years ago. Although we enjoyed that visit to Beaumaris, when we wanted to return we remembered having to park well away from this hotel in the Castle car park. My wife has a mobility problem and therefore we took pains this time to ensure that a ‘disabled’ car park... More
