The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room, we were in the Townhouse, a new development in a spectacular old Beaumaris Townhouse across the road from the main building, was beyond superb, comfortable, roomy, fab ensuite bathroom We ate in the Brasserie. Great food, well priced and a good selections of wine. The staff were again helpful and caring.... More

We visited to see what the tariff was and to get a drink. I stood at the bar for approx 5 mins no one came, so I went for a walk to the back of the pub to find two staff chatting away. Fair comment no one was in bar but they are not going to be if they cannot... More

We only had one night. It was pouring rain with gale force winds when we arrived but that was our day in Wales and we had to make the best of it. There was parking in the interior court and we managed to find a spot that was covered. Our room was the Marchioness, which overlooked the main street. An... More

The excellent bit: perfect dessert of apple and lime cheesecake in the restaurant. The average bits: dinner starter rather dull and turbot main tasty but a bit overcooked; service at breakfast slow and the scrambled eggs dry. The poor bit: my friend booked a particular room but they claimed no record of this so we ended up in a smaller... More

Thought it was going to be an average hotel. No idea that it was steeped in history, built in 1472. The loung was absolutely beautiful with an original fire place. Gorgeous furniture and lamps. Dont think they show that on trip adviser, we where stunned. We stayed over the road in the Newtown, the rooms are all very contempory. Our... More

Disappointing meal . Lovely surroundings but I feel riding on the very well thought of restaurant upstairs . Moules Mariniere quite frankly in dishwater - mussels themselves ok but accompanying sauce poor ! Whitebait overdone and dry . Earlier in the week asparagus overcooked - basic simple errors but a shame for a place with a good name and reputation.

We have stayed at Ye Olde Bulls Head Inn in Beaumaris on more than one occasion and have consistently had a lovely time. Each time, we have stayed in the Townhouse which is just across the road - the rooms are modern, bright and clean - every one of them is themed a different colour. Lots of hot water, comfy... More

Excellent facilities, very clean, staff very helpful and very pleasant. Tea and coffee in room, television. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food very good. There are 2 restraunts Brasserie and The Loft. A lovely large comfortable residents lounge. Only downside is. there is limited parking at the hotel, but plenty nearby. Have stayed here frequently.

Just returned from Beaumaris, stayed at the Ye Olde Bulls Head. Specifically we were in the townhouse which is a short walk across from the main hotel. Very modern interior, mirrors at the end of each corridor, created bit of a confusing optical illusion. Rooms aren't numbered, all named after colours. The room itself spacious & comfortable. We ate in... More

Not a particularly attractive building from the road but inside it is full of character & welcoming. There are a lot of plus points for this hotel - we stayed in "Mr Stiggens" which was a good sized room with a nice bathroom & shower. It was equipped with good quality furnishings plus tea/coffee making facilities, nice biscuits and free... More
