Stopped by for a warming drink here yesterday to avoid the rain and the wind. Was really cosy, had such a lovely roaring fire and is in a great location in the middle of town. We asked at the bar if they served food and was directed to the restaurant at the rear. There we found a lovely hidden gem.... More

Ye Olde Bulls Head is a nice and comfortable hotel in a small town. The hotel serves a standard English breakfast and have a nice bar for evening drinks or tea. I will recommend to try the restaurant called the "Loft", they served the best meal i ever had in GB.

Went the extra mile on the little things that matter. We ate in the brassiere. Daughter had fish chunky chips and crushed peas, served with half a lemon and home made tarter sauce. Dad and I had the bull burger. No rushing about very airy.

Always fancied staying in The Bull and I wasn't disappointed. We stayed in the Townhouse. the room was a fantastic size with great amenities. The location is spot on in the town - we found it was best to park in the large car park on the front which was a reasonable price and a short walk to the hotel.... More

We stayed here for two nights in mid-December. Staying two nights meant we got the 2nd night half price. This said, the room rate averaged at £105 a night. We had the Mr Peggotty Room. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. However, some of the decor, in particular the bathroom, was a little tired and in need of... More

We stayed one night and we enjoyed every minute. The room was comfortable and warm, good facilities and the bed and linen were fantastic. We had a very quiet night. The staff were wonderful especially at breakfast. We should certainly stay there again. One thing though, the internet connection was far from desirable.

A treat sleepover instead of driving home after dinner. Beautiful room. Lovely and clean and comfy. Didn't really want to get out of bed in the morning but was looking forward to breakfast. Great breakfast. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble.Absolutely love this place.
