The place is actually in Tremadog, about a mile walk from Porthmadog. It was our first experience in an English/Welsh/Scottish BnB, and so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I stayed at Tynewydd, in their self-catering cabin. It's a lot nicer than it sounds! The cabin/chalet is made of Norwegian wood and is surprisingly big. It has a living/kitchen area, a bedroom and a bathroom. It's very clean and comfortable and the owners are friendly and unobtrusive - although you'd better like dogs!
