We had a really lovely 2 night stay here at the Estuary Lodge. The room was impeccably decorated, everything was so clean, the family run hotel was a magical experience for us all. Our 2 year old loved the scale, the sweet chicks and the sweet dog and we were taken aback at the value for money and kindness of... more

Booked originally for 2 nights but was so impressed we stayed for an extra night. Nothing was to much trouble for this welcoming family. They provided us with first hand knowledge of places to visit. Room was first rate with many extra added touches. Food was superb and cooked to order. Would thoroughly reccommend as a base to visit many... more

This family run hotel (motel) offered us everything we wanted and more. Excellent food. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated rooms. Lots of little extras like fresh milk in the fridge, and even a microwave. Individual parking right outside the door. Great location. Friendly, informative owners with a great sense of humour. more

Stayed over for a business trip, no expense spared upgrading of the rooms, and surroundings, excellent roomy accommodation. Warm and very friendly welcome from the hosts. Great food and recommended for a place to unwind and to tour the area from. Large carpark directly outside the rooms, and only a short distance from Harlech and its famous Castle. Estuary Lodge... more

Whether I stay there with one of my groups or on personal trips there is always a warm welcome. Cosy rooms, wi-fi, good breakfasts and an ideal location from which to explore North Wales. Several stays tell a consistent story. more

Motel-style accommodation so we could park right outside our room. All ground floor. Food was traditional but nicely prepared. Owners were efficient, courteous and chatty but somewhat inflexible regarding mealtimes - dinner was at 6.30 pm, take it or leave it. This is a lovely part of Wales and this motel is conveniently located and easy to use. more

Estuary Lodge is built in the style of a motel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are reasonable well appointed. The breakfasts are cooked to order, so are always hot and there is a good choice. They keep hens so the eggs are probably fresh. The one gripe is the non inclusion of fried eggs on the menu. Service... more

We stayed at this little motel a few times before buying a motor home. My opinion - clean, basic accommodation but a little dated. Beds were not very uncomfortable and having a carpeted bathroon, in my view, is unhygienic. I found the owner to be a bit brusque. When I allegedly confused his daughter who was serving in the breakfast... more

We stayed for a week in June and were very impressed with the standard of the Estuary Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable and full of the little touches that raise it above the ordinary. For example the information supplied about the area had been very well researched and thoughtfully did not presume that you had, or would use... more
