Everything. Room lovely and clean and well maintained. Staff very welcoming, even offered a welcome cup of tea. Breakfast perfect. You can have anything you want and plenty of it. And they serve it up until 10 with checkout at 11. Good location as well. The only thing i would recommend is that they put some non slip coating on... More

Dear Harrhy, thanks very much for this nice stay and exceptionally delicious and fresh breakfast. I liked very much staying in this cosy place and the pubs in your lovely historic celtic city. Room was cosy decorated, everything proper. Special compliments for the nice art exposed in your restaurant. Would love to come again. Cheers, Marcella

Have found it difficult to believe the glowing reviews, so have added a belated account of our experience here. It must first be said that Richard and his mum are lovely people, keen to be of assistance and that the breakfast was good. However, the access to the rooms was via an outdoor metal fire escape - obviously dangerous when... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House and were very surprised to hear some negative reviews! Richard and his mother were lovely, recommending a nice walk and places to eat. Breakfast was delicious, just the thing to set you up for a busy day. The Coach House is great value for money and we would definitely return.

I can't believe the other reviews for this hotel! We booked it because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor- not sure if I will ever trust it again!! I agree that Richard and his mother were most welcoming but having to access the room via the outside metal fire escape staircase and through a fire door was a hazard.... More

First review ever written for accommodation as most are just ok but the coach house deserves a full 5 stars all round. Richard the owner was very welcoming and pleasant he took the time out to show me where the better pubs in the area are and even rang round them to see if any live music was going on,... More

We stayed at the Coach House with friends to share a few days walking in the Wye Valley. Sadly, the hotel is very run down and the rooms are very grubby. Richard and his mother are very nice people, helpful and attentive - but there was s clearly a problem with running the hotel. We complained about the dirty net... More

We stayed for one night at the Coach House Inn and couldn't have picked a better place. We were party of a group walking the Offas Dyke path and were very tired and achy on arrival. Richard was very welcoming (even though he was stressed after a family emergency) and took time to show us around the property and room... More

We stayed here for one night on a Saturday as we were attending a wedding in Caer LLan (see separate review). The Coach House is a quaint little B & B with a lovely courtyard which I was told is a suntrap. We didn't have much time to enjoy this however, as we had to get changed and off to... More

4 of us stayed here in August 2014 whilst playing golf in the area. Richard, the owner, was very helpful. The rooms were fine and breakfast was absolutely superb. It is very close to everything in the town and the only drawback is that there is no parking - however there is parking nearby. Richard also arranged a superb deal... More
