Mike and Leslie are superb hosts, and couldn't have been more kind or helpful. Monmouth centre is a few minutes walk from Myrtle Place, and the B&B is ideal for the whole area. Top class mouth watering breakfast perfectly cooked by Mike. We cannot praise Myrtle Place highly enough.

I could happily stay at Myrtle Place for a week. On our arrival there, my husband and I, having asked for a room with twin beds, were shown to a spacious room that was, in reality, a studio apartment that contained a kitchen area. We also appreciated having our own entrance as well as a door to our own piece... More

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Small B & B accommodation within walking distance to centre of Monmouth. Lovely full cooked breakfast. Off road parking available. Local taxis readily available. Beautiful surrounding countryside for exploring.

I had 2 nights here so I could attend a family wedding. A twin bedded room with a bathroom all to myself... lovely!! I really liked the teapots. The host could not have been more welcoming and made me feel very at home, I was well looked after. The house was well placed and close to Monmouth Centre (£3.00 in... More

This was our first stay here, for one night to break a journey. We had a lovely large room and private patio. They offer either a full cooked or contintental breakfast - as we'd chosen the latter (cereal, bread & maramlade) and happened to be in their self-catering accommodation then it was left in the fridge for us to have... We stayed for 1 night while walking Offa's Dyke. I would definitely recommend this B&B. The owners are very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. It's a short walk into Monmouth town centre and it's very good value for the price (we paid more for far less facilities during our walk).

Stayed here on my lands end to john o'groats cycling trip. Very welcoming and hospitable hosts, good and clean facilities and a great breakfast. What a good B&B is all about.

Myrtle Place, can be used as B & B or Self-Catering. We used it as the latter. Owners very friendly and obliging. Cooking facilities are limited to a small 2-ring table top cooker. Fine for a short break. Dedicated patio area is great, so is own entrance and parking. Very handy for walking into town, also for exploring nearby towns.... More

Very good value--extremely nice hosts Spotlessly clean, why stay in a soulless hotel when there are B@ B's like this? 5 minute walk into town for supper Breakfast superb Highly recommend
