The food here is beautiful, we were served welsh lamb and you could taste the quality. We all had large portions and there was a good choice of foods on the carvery. The service is informal and friendly and you are made to feel very much at home. We loved the character of the building and the surroundings are lovely.... More

The problem we were informed we would need to wait half and hour, but we waited for one hour. Then we were told the carvery was just getting ready, but is was clear there was... More

We'd never stayed in this part of Wales before so it really was pot-luck that we picked the Stables. We were attending a wedding nearby the next day so we arrived late after a 400 mile journey. Everyone couldn't have been nicer to us. The room was good-sized and very clean and the breakfasts excellent. (We chose full English just... More
