From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The village pub was recommended to us for food and we are glad it was. The service and food was great. Facilities are better here than at home, and the breakfast was perfect. Well done Mr & Mrs Jones. Excellent end to a brilliant trip. Thank you.

My family and I were made to feel really welcome by John and Alwena from the minute we arrived. The rooms are spacious and clean with tea and coffee and plenty of biscuits ! The scenery is stunning and there is lots to do in surrounding areas. Breakfasts were substantial with the option of hot or cold food. We thoroughly... More

We stayed for two nights at Cil y Bont. Although the weather put paid to some of our hiking plans, we had a really enjoyable stay. Alwena, John and Iwan are very welcoming, the breakfasts were fantastic and the rooms are spacious and immaculately clean with great en suite bathrooms. Llanrug is a couple of miles up the road from... More

After a tough slog on the welsh three peaks, we arrived at our B&B. I and a twin room,Munich had a double shower, beautiful roll top bath, and super soft towels and toiletries. There was ample tea & coffee making facilities and fresh milk and biscuits also put a smile on our faces. The landlord and land lady made us... More

We have been to Cil y Bont several times now, always when we are working in the area. On the last two occasions we have extended our stay in order to fully experience and enjoy the Snowdonia area. Alwena, John and Iwan are friendly, welcoming and treat you like family guests. The rooms are decorated very regularly and are tasteful,... More

We felt very welcome with Alwena, John and Iwan and enjoyed many nice conversations with them during our four day stay. Couldn't ask for more - great bed, excellent breakfasts, use of their living room, and so on. All three of them provided us with good recommendations for places to eat, visit and experience. Our weather wasn't the best but... More

We really did feel like one of the family in this pleasant home, located in the small village of Llanrug set next to a stream and affording views of the beautiful countryside. A very helpful young man at the Information Centre in Llanberis found this gem for us. Alwena, John and Iwan warmly welcomed us, our room was spacious and... More

Their home is in an idyllic situation in the small village of LLan Rug,with the beautiful Mount Snowden in full view from the bedroom windows, and a picturesque... More

We had the pleasure of enjoying two nights at this warm, friendly B&B. The freshly redecorated rooms were inviting and spacious, and the breakfasts were exactly what we were looking for. The B&B provides and ideal base from which to explore the many attractions in this area of Snowdonia, including Caernarfon, Llanberis with the Welsh Slate Museum, and the stunning... More
