Stayed for one night. Had Tea and Welsh Cakes. Nice big room ( N0. 1) with 4 windows - yes 4 windows. BIG Flat Screen Telly on the wall. Did not go for the walks as it was raining but will next time. Breakfast sorted us out for the day with offers of more and more Toast. Very peaceful and... More

My husband and I have just had a truly wonderful 3 night stay at this excellent B & B. The relief managers Susan and Tim Langdon greeted and welcomed us warmly and served us tea and cake in the beautiful spacious gardens. We stayed in the Honeysuckle Room which we highly recommend - comfortable bed, spotless bed linen and walk-in... More

Spent 4 nights here in June with Susan and Tim as hosts as owners on holiday. Had a truly wonderful time with excellent food provided by Tim. We were in room 5 which although compact has everything you need with lovely ensuite and very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities too. Susan and Tim were excellent hosts who were able... More

We stayed at this lovely B & B set in beautiful grounds for 2 nights. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, extremely clean and very cosy with an extremely comfortable bed. Our hosts, Martin and Janet made us feel very welcome on arrival with refreshments of tea and cakes which was much appreciated after our journey. Breakfast was excellent with... More

Our two-night stay in this gorgeous B&B was splendid from our arrival to our departure. My daughter, dog and myself were cared for by the minders of the hotel, Susan and Tim, who were very welcoming and accommodating. The house itself was beautiful and the extensive garden was perfect for a short morning walk with the dog, with many quirky... More

We stayed at Afon Rhaiadr on a 2 night Amazon Local deal and just about squeezed it in at the end of May before the expiry of said deal. The property is beautiful and the setting equally as lovely. One review says that the gardens could have been better tended to but you are in the middle of Snowdonia and... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay 20th & 21st June. What a gem! This was a gift from our daughter. Wonderful hosts very friendly, nothing too much trouble. We dined in on both nights and would highly recommend the food - delicious. Breakfast was very good too, sets you up for the day, locally sourced produce too.... More

We arrived at the Afon Rhaiadr B&B after a fab day at the Coed-Y-Brenin mtb centre and were very warmly welcomed by Janet. As we had bikes with us, we had already requested storage of these and were shown where to store and asked if we needed any help straight away which was very kind. Martin came out to help... More

A very pleasant 3 days were spent at this property. Our bedroom 'Foxglove' complete with spa bath was excellent. Everything spotlessly clean and good food on the one evening we did eat there allows us to recommend this establishment to anyone requiring a base to stay in this area. It is worth establishing before booking what nights evening meals are... More

Thank you for all the lovely comments you made and we are pleased that you appreciate all the good things about us and the property. Your comments about the cuisine are mistaken as Martin makes everything fresh each day and the work involved is the reason for the cost and that we are unable to offer a choice. This is... More
