We stayed here for 2 nights last week. The hotel is in a nice spot overlooking the bay. Free car parking next to the hotel is an added bonus. Our bedroom was ok but the shower/ toilet room was very small. We had dinner here on our 1st night and ate off the ala carte menu. The food was nicely... More

My wife and i have stayed at the Moelwyn quite a few times over the past few years, and it was always great. But we stayed there a year or so ago,and the standard of the food had dropped. And also they had built a balcony outside the diningroom, which is not good as people were staying on the balcony drinking until midnight or... Very nicely situated overlooking the sea, outside terrace available too. Food excellent , long break between courses but this was welcome. Service ok - felt the surroundings were not quite as nice as they could be, certainly restaurant toilets were down steep stairs and In need of refurbishment. Food was tasty, nicely presented and obviously cooked to order but the... More

Great, clean room with sea views. Super close to the beach with a car park right next to the hotel. The staff were super friendly. It was a little noisy on a night as our room was right above the restaurant/kitchen, but the noise stopped at around 1115pm. We didn't have dinner in the hotel, but the breakfast was great.... More

Fabulous views over the Bay. Lulled to sleep by the lapping waves. If Greg Wallace and John Torode have not sampled this chef's food, they should! Wide menu choice.Local produce. Well cooked and beautifully presented. Friendly staff.

Spent last-night at the moelwyn with 5 of our friends. Fab location, bedrooms were all clean with lovely views of the sea. The highlight for us was the exceptionally high standard, gorgeous evening meal cooked by Dave the chef, it was superb. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
