Fantastic guest house - friendly, pristine clean, home from home. The owners are lovely, nothing too much trouble and very knowledgeable of the local area. Fantastic breakfasts, all fresh products served with a smile and friendly banter. Right on the sea front and we had a beautiful room with a panoramic view. Criccieth is a lovely town and only approx... More

Martin and Judith are two genuinely friendly hosts who obviously love what they do. Martin has been described as arrogant on two previous reviews but all we can say is we found him warm, friendly and respectful. A million miles from being arrogant in fact. His verbal interaction with two lovely ladies from Preston had us all laughing out loud... More

We had decided to have a short break and thought Criccieth sounded nice and was in a good location for us to visit local attractions and it didn't disappoint. Awel Mor B&B was the ideal base, based right on the seafront with amazing views out to sea and of the castle. The owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and informative about... More

We found Awel Mor to be very welcoming, beautifully clean and tidy. Our single beds were very comfortable with a choice of summer or winter duvets available. The power shower was instant with plenty of hot water when wanted and an assortment of tea/coffee/milk plus complementary biscuits in our room. Breakfast was excellent, with a large choice of cereals, fruit,... More

We stayed at Awel Mor for 2 nights. Martin was very welcoming, advised us of the best places to eat in the area, of which we tried and he was right with recommendations, they were lovely. Room was beautiful, big and a fantastic sea view, very clean and lovely en-suite. Judith's cooked breakfast's were very tasty and smelt lovely too... More

Really friendly B&B! Absolutely perfect for a weekend away exploring North Wales - walking, Portmeirion, Beddgelert and the railways! Martin was the perfect host and welcomed us into his home with tips on where, and where not, to go. We followed his advice. Judith's breakfast was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 4 nights, on arrival we were met by Martin who was extremely welcoming. Letting us know the best places to eat. Room was beautiful. Spacious with ensuite shower. Nice touches as it wasn't a sea view room there was a picture on the wall of the sea! Breakfast was fantastic lovely selection (even for a veggie)... More

Spent four nights here in early August. We were met by Judith who helped us with our luggage and showed us round. Very friendly and welcoming. We had a double room with en suite shower etc, which was really clean and comfortable - the only disappointment was that we didn't have a sea view - but not all rooms can... More
