the hotel for the price was very nice and clean.Staff very pleasant.Great views of the coast line. Right on the beach. The breakfast is very good value ,an assortment of cereals, fruit, juices and good cooked breakfasts. However the bed was very uncomfortable ,but for two nights we were able to make do. We chose to pay a little extra for a bay window and wow! we were so glad we did! Our room was first floor at the front of the hotel. The hotel is positioned in the middle of the bay at Criccieth, so our bay window gave us views of the entire bay including Criccieth Castle. The hotel was close... More

We booked this hotel having read numerous reviews across a number of hotels across the Lleyn Peninsula. I regret that we were so disappointed - despite being grateful for the owner ( Nick? ) kindly contacting us a couple of hours after we left to let us know that we has left some clothes on our room. Our main gripe... More

The Caerwylan Hotel was a very nice place to stay for our short break in August 2014 on the Nefyn Peninsula. Our room was a King Size overlooking the sea and the view was great. We had an evening meal there and it was of a good standard, although perhaps a little pricey for what was really just a "carvery".... More

I have just made a return visit to “The Caerwylan”. This is now by far my first choice place to stay in Criccieth. Great view of the seafront, friendly staff, very quickly served breakfast. The wifi worked much better in the guest lounge than my room but the view from the room more than made up for that and it... More

My partner and I stayed here for the night and what a great night and stay it was, the hotel was perfect, the staff were so friendly and the owners went out of their way to make everything wonderful. We dined in the restaurant on the evening of our stay, the food was faultless, and once again the staff were... More

We are so pleased that we chose this delightful hotel...more like a 4 star in a prime location overlooking the beach yet a short stroll from the town. Beautiful room, lovely interiors and very comfortable. Great service. The breakfast was truly outstanding. We did not sample the food in the restaurant but if the food is as good as the... More
