The first thing you notice when you arrive is the well presented building. Situated opposite the sea front and a free, unlimited public car park The Abereistedd is an imposing detached property boasting three floors of letting rooms. I had originally booked two rooms, a family room and a single room for my elderly mother. However our plans changed and... More

When we arrived at the b and b the gentleman that welcomed us appeared very friendly and was helpful. The room was satisfactory for the price, however we were a little disappointed as we had requested a sea room when booking this but our window was at the side of the building so to see the sea we had to... About the sea view - the window is exactly 27 inches from the floor. It is 4 feet wide by 41/2 feet tall, and the sea can be seen from the top, bottom, left and right. We shut the bar at 11.00 pm out of consideration for our guests, as by then most of them are in bed. I was... More

We stayed in Room1 with a side sea view. Room decor dated but King size bed very comfy and flat screen TV had good reception and choice of channels. Hospitality tray well filled just didn't like that weak tea. Take some of your own tbags if you like stronger tea. There is a relaxing lounge, lots of books and a... More

Excellent B&B with good breakfasts, friendly host, parking either on the forecourt or the free car park across the road, comfortable bed, well stocked tray, beautiful sea view from our room. Easy walk into town, no traffic noise at all, just the sound of the sea. My only criticism was the en-suite bathroom was a bit on the compact size,... More

Stayed here recently in a side sea view room which was sold on the website as superior. Room was very clean and comfortable. Quite noisy from the people in the room above and creaky floorboards so take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Lovely breakfast and plenty of extra toast and coffee/tea. Everyone is very friendly so be prepared... More

Uncomplicated and with a familiar atmosphere. Very quiet surrounding with beach in front of the house (some rooms have a sea view). Lovely breakfast. Special: fully licensed in-house bar in the evenings.

I have just returned from a lovely couple of nights. I booked a single room which delightfully had a double bed, the room was very comfortable with a sea view, very nice to fall asleep to the sound of the sea. I felt the price for the room was excellent Brian welcomed me and was very knowledgable about places to... More

On arrival we were greeted by Linda, who is really lovely and friendly. She offered us the choice of two rooms, and we opted for the kingsize bed over the sea view, although the view was stunning being right on the sea front. I loved the room, it was so cosy and homely. We had stayed in three other hotels... More

We stopped for one night in a sea view room. It had a sofa facing out to the view which was great for sitting and watching the world go by. Bed was super king and comfy. Brian was a great host very welcoming and knowledgeable on local places to eat and visit, without being too intrusive as some owners can... More

We have just arrived back from a perfect mini break at The Abereistedd and really did not want to leave. We only booked in at the last minute after sitting on the carpark and looking on the internet. We had a very warm welcome and our rooms were immaculate with stunning sea views and a huge comfy bed. We watched... More
