We booked on line for a two night break in July as the Hotel was almost at capacity we had a side view room that was perhaps a little on the small size but was spotlessly clean with a good hospitality tray. We received a warm welcome from the owner who was also friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay nothing... More

I have just returned from a two night stay at The Abereistedd while visiting family on the Lleyn Peninsula and I am so pleased that I chose this hotel. The welcome was warm and inviting and my room (a single) was spotless. The bonus was that I had a sea view - most single rooms equate to a boxroom at... More

As a reviewer has previously stated it's best to telephone the hotel direct for availability and to check which rooms are available as some have restricted access for some people. This became evident when greeted by Brian who was I have to say a bit abrupt with us when asked having been given a side room and expecting a front... More

Stayed here for a 3 night break. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy and we had a good sea view. The breakfast choice was really good and the food was excellent. The position of the hotel is lovely and a really good base for exploring the Lleyn peninsular

I stayed here last Wednesday evening with my brother as our first stop on cycle route 8 from Holyhead to Cardiff. We arrived at the hotel In the evening and we were very tired after leaving London at 3.30am. We were greeted by the gentleman at the hotel who told us where to go in town and showed us to... More

Greeted by Brian, on arrival, shown to our room (3) with a brilliant sea view. Brian asked about our plans and was most helpful and informative in regard to our chosen venues. Breakfast timing, 8 - 8.45 am, is a little restrictive but the availability of cereals, fruit juices, cooked food was excellent, with the option of ordering exactly what... More

We used this hotel for a one night stop over. Located right on the sea front just walking distance from the ruined castle and 15 mins from the town centre, the hotel offers 180 degree views of the beach and Cardigan Bay. Criccieth itself is an ideal centre for exploring north Wales. Our double room with in-room wash basin but... More

we arrived to be met by Brian, who bombarded us with information about places to eat and i cant remember what else , our room was small but clean, the bed was very soft. Breakfast was on the small side, coffee was excellent. The noise from the bar in the evening was quite loud as our room was right above.... More

ebeam, Owner at The Abereistedd, responded to this review

I'm sorry if this customer thinks he was "bombarded" with information. Most people are happy to have local knowledge of the best places to eat, etc. The room is of above average size, and the bed, like all our beds, is medium firmness - that particular bed is a Hypnos - a very high quality bed. The wifi signal is... More
