Was looking for a base so we could travel around & found this on the internet. Was easy to book online. Found it easy enough & it's close to the main town. Our room was spotless & overlooking the castle & sea. It's nice to see branded refreshments in the room. The staff were very friendly & helpful, recommending eateries... More

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at the Aberiestedd celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely room with a sea view and a nice cosy settee to sit and look at it. A comfortable seat in hotel bedrooms seems to be something of a rarity and you are usually forced to sit on the bed. Not... More

I had a lovely two night stay here. Everywhere was spotless and everything had been thought out and included. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was perfect. It was no problem to ask for more tea or extra toast. I hope to stay here again some time.

I visited the Abereistedd last August and want to go back! The accommodations are very nice and the management is warm and friendly, and so helpful with recommending restaurants and beautiful places for photographers. Both my boyfriend and I will definitely be going back, and we're hoping to return to Abereistedd. Wonderful memories made there.

Arrived a little early before check in time - not a problem the room was ready. We were met by Brian who quickly went through the times for breakfast and local places to eat in the evenings. We were then shown the room which was of a good size - the decor and shower room is what would be classed... More

Stayed for two nights before travelling on to a family wedding - approximately 45 years since I lasted visited Criccieth so a lot of reminiscing to be done and the Abereistedd was an ideal base for this. We were greeted by Linda who quickly rearranged a lower floor room for my husband's elderly parents who travelled with us. She gave... More

Stayed here purely as there were no other hotels available with rooms that were licensed and had a restaraunt, on arrival we were met by the Lady Owner who had us fill out forms, and then dictated the rules and regulations and times of openings; ie breakfast 8-8.45 PROMPT, Bar opened at 18.00 until CLOSED at 10.30pm PROMPT, she went... Angus122 seems to be under a major misapprehension that The Abereistedd is a Hotel. It isn't, it’s a family-run B&B. We offer simple home-cooked meals to our guests by prior arrangement. This is all clearly detailed, both on our website, and the booking website Angus122 used. This option was not taken up; Angus122 categorically was NOT told we were full... More

This was my second time staying at the friendly run hotel in a brilliant location. Brian and Linda could not have done more in making their guests welcome. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. It really felt like 'home from home' and the food was amazing. Linda and Brian were full of suggestions of places for us to visit.... More

We arrived a little early and met by Brian who made us very welcome pointing out everything within the hotel and places of interest locally, we where allocated room 10 which was on the top floor but this presented no problems, the hotel is situated on the sea front so the views out to sea was outstanding, although the room... Brian and Linda Have created a gem of a hotel. Everything about the experience was fantastic from the booking right through to departure. Rooms are very clean and homely, with all that you need, a lovely lounge and bar, wonderful breakfasts and evening meals - 5 courses if you can manage it!! Very pleasant company in the hotel.
