We stayed in two connected adjoining rooms at the Abereistedd on our visit to zip world. This configuration is very difficult to find. From the moment we walked in the owner was friendly and helpful, sensitive to his guests' comfort and full of advice on where to try for a meal . There were many nice touches about the accommodation-... More

Recently returned from a two night break at The Abereistedd. The only downside being that it wasnt for long enough. We have been staying there for over ten years and that alone should speak for itself. However just to expand a little.Plenty of available parking.Always a warm welcome from Linda or Brian on arrival whether you are a regular or a new... As my title implies arriving at the Abereistedd is like going home to us, always a warm welcome, over the years we have stayed in most of the rooms, we have our favorites but have found them all to be spotlessly clean { and kept so all through our stay) very comfortable , food is excellent both beakfast and dinner lots... Just returned home after a 4 night stay at The Abereistedd. This was our first visit to The Abereistedd and we were very impressed. It is in a beautiful location across the road from the sea front at Criccieth and we were very impressed with our family room which was interconnecting rooms with a double bed in one and twin... The hotel was nicely positioned on the seafront. Our bedroom had a sea view from the side of the building. It was a clean and tidy room but tired, particularly the en-suite bathroom which was a good size. The bed in particular was a queen size and very comfortable. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful plus keen to... More

Criccieth is well positioned to explore Llyn and Snowdonia areas. It's a fairly small seaside town with just enough going on for a few days visit. Transport is needed to explore further afield. There is lots to do in North Wales if you can get around easily. We read the reviews with some concern. The owner has a right to... More

Thank you for your comments. Regarding the kettle lead, sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the government have decreed that for health and safety reasons, kettles can only be supplied with short leads. For the same reason, we are unable to supply extension leads. I am honestly really puzzled that you described this room (room 2) as small - it is... More

When you arrive here after a long journey it would be good to have help with cases but no help was forthcoming. Rooms are clean and tidy but en suite is very dated and shower base very slippery. Breakfast is 0800hrs to 0845hrs and the Dining Room door is firmly locked until 0800hrs so no question of 'What time you... More

I'm Sorry Mr G Felt it was unreasonable to not let people into the dining room until breakfast was ready. Would he have prefered to sit there for 20 minutes waiting for us to finish cooking the food? As far as help with luggage is concerned, I have a very serious problem with my back, which makes carrying cases impossible.... More

Was looking for a base so we could travel around & found this on the internet. Was easy to book online. Found it easy enough & it's close to the main town. Our room was spotless & overlooking the castle & sea. It's nice to see branded refreshments in the room. The staff were very friendly & helpful, recommending eateries... More

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at the Aberiestedd celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely room with a sea view and a nice cosy settee to sit and look at it. A comfortable seat in hotel bedrooms seems to be something of a rarity and you are usually forced to sit on the bed. Not... More

I had a lovely two night stay here. Everywhere was spotless and everything had been thought out and included. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was perfect. It was no problem to ask for more tea or extra toast. I hope to stay here again some time.
