Stayed here for a 3 night break. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy and we had a good sea view. The breakfast choice was really good and the food was excellent. The position of the hotel is lovely and a really good base for exploring the Lleyn peninsular

I stayed here last Wednesday evening with my brother as our first stop on cycle route 8 from Holyhead to Cardiff. We arrived at the hotel In the evening and we were very tired after leaving London at 3.30am. We were greeted by the gentleman at the hotel who told us where to go in town and showed us to... More

Greeted by Brian, on arrival, shown to our room (3) with a brilliant sea view. Brian asked about our plans and was most helpful and informative in regard to our chosen venues. Breakfast timing, 8 - 8.45 am, is a little restrictive but the availability of cereals, fruit juices, cooked food was excellent, with the option of ordering exactly what... More

We used this hotel for a one night stop over. Located right on the sea front just walking distance from the ruined castle and 15 mins from the town centre, the hotel offers 180 degree views of the beach and Cardigan Bay. Criccieth itself is an ideal centre for exploring north Wales. Our double room with in-room wash basin but... More

we arrived to be met by Brian, who bombarded us with information about places to eat and i cant remember what else , our room was small but clean, the bed was very soft. Breakfast was on the small side, coffee was excellent. The noise from the bar in the evening was quite loud as our room was right above.... More

I'm sorry if this customer thinks he was "bombarded" with information. Most people are happy to have local knowledge of the best places to eat, etc. The room is of above average size, and the bed, like all our beds, is medium firmness - that particular bed is a Hypnos - a very high quality bed. The wifi signal is... More

The first thing you notice when you arrive is the well presented building. Situated opposite the sea front and a free, unlimited public car park The Abereistedd is an imposing detached property boasting three floors of letting rooms. I had originally booked two rooms, a family room and a single room for my elderly mother. However our plans changed and... More

When we arrived at the b and b the gentleman that welcomed us appeared very friendly and was helpful. The room was satisfactory for the price, however we were a little disappointed as we had requested a sea room when booking this but our window was at the side of the building so to see the sea we had to... About the sea view - the window is exactly 27 inches from the floor. It is 4 feet wide by 41/2 feet tall, and the sea can be seen from the top, bottom, left and right. We shut the bar at 11.00 pm out of consideration for our guests, as by then most of them are in bed. I was... More

We stayed in Room1 with a side sea view. Room decor dated but King size bed very comfy and flat screen TV had good reception and choice of channels. Hospitality tray well filled just didn't like that weak tea. Take some of your own tbags if you like stronger tea. There is a relaxing lounge, lots of books and a... More

Excellent B&B with good breakfasts, friendly host, parking either on the forecourt or the free car park across the road, comfortable bed, well stocked tray, beautiful sea view from our room. Easy walk into town, no traffic noise at all, just the sound of the sea. My only criticism was the en-suite bathroom was a bit on the compact size,... More
