We stayed here in October 2014 and really enjoyed our visit. Our rooms were basic but very clean and with everthing that was needed - TV, hairdryer and Tea/coffee making facilities. If the rooms were upgraded I would have given 5 Stars. I certainly give the dining room 5 stars as the service was excellent and the food was always... More

Stayed on the 3rd oct for 2 nights in room 113 at the back of the hotel, no view, just a fire escape. The room was spotless and larger than we expected for the price we paid. We booked breakfast and dinner and were surprised at the choices. A menu for the week is supplied in your room, so you... More

My wife treated me to a long weekend at this hotel and by Jove was it good. Without a doubt it is the best hotel in this class that we have stayed in. The room we had was in the new extension that was completed some 2 years ago with a modern shower cubical and tiled floor to ceiling, Modern... More

Hubby and I stayed at the GEORGE IV in Criccieth fron 17th -21st sept 2014. The room is the largest we have ever stayed in during our holidaying at home or abroad. The bathroom had a new toilet, wash basin and power shower, beautifully tiled from floor to ceiling. The snowy-white fluffy towels were a treat. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.... More

Quite down at heel building, our room at the front looked out to the castle, big room very spacious, terribly tired, though new shower room, spotlessly clean, fresh smelling bed sheets and towels (a must for me!). Old fashioned furniture, need of refurbish all over. However, staff allEastern European, very friendly, polite and attentive. Food quality only ok, but hot... More

Staff were lovely could not do enough for you, the bedroom was clean overlooking the sea, food was good, the area is a bit hilly for anyone who struggles walking. Would definitely go back to this hotel. The trips out were value for money and the driver was great

Alfa four night tour. Meal times in 15 minute slots to get to your table seemed to work as no delay at all in being served. Good points menu printed for a week ,always had on each day four different starters, also a different main dish, of meat, fish, vegetarian and a salad plus a chef's choice each day. This chef's...
