The best hotel in Criccieth for people with dogs! Not the most modern hotel but friendly owners. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the pub/bar at the back of the hotel. Breakfast okay with some choice. The owners will try to put you in a seperate room for breakfast if they can so you can have your dog with you... More

Booked for function for later on this year and these people then booked the wrong day completely but booked 2 rooms for the right date, and then to add insult to injury accused my husband of not telling them the right dates to start with but they had already booked 2 rooms for us for the correct dates. When we... More

We decided to meet up with friends staying nearby and had to find a hotel fast. Hotels.com came up with this little gem and I have to say the breakfasts alone would bring me back! If you're looking for state of the art, high spec, boutique minimalism then this isn't for you. If however you want a warm welcome in... More

This is not a luxury 5 star country retreat this is an honest seaside hotel with everything you would expect to find on a traditional break in a Victorian seaside resort. The charm of Criccieth is its yesteryear feel, and this lovely B&B fits right in. My room had traditional fittings, not a high class power shower but a relaxing... More

The hotel has had some bad reviews on TripAdvisor but I was proved right in my suspicion that these were from people expecting luxury on the cheap. The single room was small but well laid out so it felt cosy not cramped and scrupulously clean - as evidenced by pure white bathroom mats. It's true the decor is old fashioned... More

Stayed one night. Pleasant enough welcome from the hosts, but the whole place was just a little tired. Probably a bit of a catch22 for the hosts. The whole place needs a revamp, but would it be viable for them??? Old fashioned décor in the bedroom. 'Pink' toilet with white (mould speckled) shower. A wash basin in the bedroom which... More

Just got back from a one night stay at this hotel having booked it on the internet yesterday afternoon, so very last minute! The hotel is in a very good location overlooking the sea on the seafront. We booked a superior room with seaview which turned out to be a 'suite' (Room 1). The room was lovely and big with... More

We needed a room at the last minute and found this place via a recommendation. Very friendly and obliging owners, good breakfast and a cosy bar/ pool table area. Homely rather than plush but very good value.

we paid £158 for 2 nights in a 'suite' . I adore the area and we did have good views of the castle and could see the sea to the side of the view. We thought the hotel was on the whole, fair for a budget stay. NEGATIVES- The suite had obviously been 2 adjoining bedrooms too small to market... More
