We were insulted on arrival, prices were more expensive than advertised. Says from £40 in the window but price was £91. My wife was insulted and ejected from the hotel when were arrived as we got there late and she asked if the have any late booking deals. She came out looking shocked, she explained what had happened. She is... More

The hotel may look a little tired on the outside, but the owners are very helpful and facilities are fine. A good value stay-good night's sleep and excellent breakfast. Superb location and relaxing atmosphere. Will be returning.

As stated in other reviews the hotel is dated but not scruffy or anything, clean and tidy has a warm comforting feel to it bed was so comfortable only problem the old church next door which obviously isn't a church anymore there was loud booming base music and girls drunk shouting coming from there loads of young girls we saw... We had a lovely stay in the Marine Hotel on the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Sure the hotel is a little dated and the rooms could do with a bit of a refresh (the bed spreads!) but it didn't bother me too much as everything was clean and worked well. The location is excellent for exploring Snowdonia and the beautiful... More

I really enjoyed my two night stay at this local bed and breakfast while on a trip to Scotland, England and Wales. It was not the best time (January) as the cold and wind off the ocean was bone chilling, however this is a really nice local little inn with lots of atmosphere and the location was great. The owners... More

Having returned to my old job, this was my first overnight stay (on business) for a while. I chose to stay here based on my company's budget. its location (I like villages close to the sea) and its proximity for work. I can't say I have any complaints whatsoever. My room (Number 10) was actually a family room, so plenty... More

We had spent less money the night before and got a superior double room which was luxurious so arriving to this hotel costing us a lot more with basic and a very low standard room was very disappointing. Its in a great location but we wanted a stop over that provided comfort. We were tired so reluctantly opted to stay... More

Booked at the last minute, and they were very accommodating. Nice pleasant rooms (we had to move during our stay because of prior bookings), very comfortable beds. Nice location, pleasant bar, very nice breakfast all made fresh. Only quibble is evening meals- we ate there a couple of times and it was very nice, but they will only serve a... More

We stayed 2 nights in a first floor double room over looking the sea and castle. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and there were plenty of toiletries and a nice selection of items on the tea tray. The breakfast was filling and tasty and the bar and pool table were a lovely way to start our evenings.... More

Stayed in a family room sleeping 5. Room was lovely, lots of toiletries and tea and coffee making things! Even hot chocolate! We were on the top floor so not much of a view. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Lovely location... Castle right across the road and free parking. The only criticism was the shower. I don't think there was... More
