After a day looking in local graveyards for our family history, this pub was a welcome sight. Very nice and clean, plenty of room to sit both inside and out. Well cooked and presented food. Lovely tartare sauce, with the fresh fish and chips my husband and I ordered. My friend ordered the glasfryn burger and was equally pleased. Toilets... More

We arrived early for dinner one evening in late August, around 6.30 and by 7pm the pub was full! The pub is very efficiently run (you can't pre book) and you are allocated a table upon arrival - so do get there early in high season. We had the chicken curry, which was excellent, and could have eaten anything on... More

The sun Inn has two menus one for evening and another for lunches , both are excellent . Lots to choose from. ( my daughter opted for the muscles and was brought a huge bowl of them served with hot bread ! ). Very reasonably priced meals and the food was of a very high standard . Staff where very... More

Food is good solid pub grub from aroun £10 a main with more expensive fish and steaks up to c.£20. Usual a few speacials worth... More

Very expensive average pub food. Mussels for starter, served in a sauce that tasted like a dissolved fish oxo cube and water... Main was better but SO expensive. The whole menu is very expensive for pub food. Portion sizes are rubbish! The bins are near the seating area and front entrance ? What's that all about? The only pub for... More

And I do mean the thinnest piece of fish you will ever be served with, less meat than on a tadpole. £16 for Grilled Whole Plaice which when you peel away the skin has the bone in the middle and just a morcel of fish meat. The spuds and veg were nicely cooked, decent service and maybe I just chose... More

Fab pub for a drive out on a rainy Welsh lunchtime (of which there are many.) Cosy little pub serving good pub food. Menu serves what you would expect of a pub at lunchtime. We both had burgers which were yummy and the chips were amazing, really crunchy and golden. The evening menu looks a bit more exiting with a... More

We have just got back from a weekend in abersoch and were recommended this pub. We had a nice little walk there from our campsite. The pub is in a lovely little village with stunning views from the beer garden. Food was very nice as was the beer and service was good! Helped that it was a gorgeous weekend too!
