Recently stopped here in room 1 First the positives. Excellent location very close to beach and town with private parking. The breakfast staff were lovely and attentive. The towels were large and fluffy. Sadly now the negatives. On arrival no greeting from the people who own the place and are charging a lot of money for what is a run... More

Arrived at B & B to a note on reception telling us which room we were in and the keys in the door, not the type of welcome I expect when paying £110 a night (we stayed 2). I think the owners should be there to personally welcome especially as there was an elderly couple just arrived and there was... More

5 mi utes walk fro. the beach and 2 minutes from the town centre.. for those who like to have a base and just get on with thier holiday, this is perfect. Nice, well cooked breakfast. its basic, but its clean, quiet and personally we quite like the unobtrusive way the hotel is run.. just lets you get on with... More

We are long-term repeat visitors to the Wylfa as we are always guaranteed a great stay. Debbie and Steve are accommodating to our needs, run a clean, beautiful establishment with lovely white linen, massive, soft towels, great coffee and breakfast and provide a relaxed atmosphere. We've stayed in most guest houses in the village over the years, but we now... More

Took my elderly mother for a one night stay in the Wylfa and a 'trip down memory lane'. Holidayed for over 30 yrs in Abersoch, caravanning, and just needed an 'Abersoch fix', and it was perfect. Weather could have been better, but can't help that. The Wylfa was an excellent choice for accommodation. It was spotlessly clean, and had a... More

Arrived at the Wylfa with no greeting from anyone - was a note on the door saying our key was in the room door. Room was fairly small but clean, bathroom was nice. Didn't make it down to breakfast so can't comment on that! Paid £160 for two people for two nights which was quite expensive. Located about 3 minute... More

This dreary B&B didn't even offer a hello or a goodbye! The room key was left in the bedroom door and a note on the reception telling you to let yourself in. As we had paid a very over the top payment of £100 through Evivo there wasn't anyone at reception when we left. The room was tired and needed... More

Stayed at Wylfa for a couple of nights (June 4th/5th). As usual we had a lovely break and warm welcome from Debbie. Breakfast is excellent and the waiting staff can't do enough for you. The Wylfa is in an excellent position with just a 5 mins walk into village centre, a beach just round the corner and Spar shop across... More

We were very much looking forward to this based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Us and the 2 kids were on the top floor conversion. The queen bed was amazingly comfy, a small lounge and the kids had twin beds. The bathroom was huge and it was all lovely and clean with fluffy towels. Really close to a... More

Just returned from a short stay at Wylfa. Situated very close to the centre of Abersoch and it's bars, shops and eateries, and within easy walking distance. Very comfortable stay, lovely freshly cooked breakfast, clean room with all the essentials. Somewhat disappointed as none of the staff introduced themselves, so unsure who the owners were, or whether they were there... More
