Stayed one night as attending funeral locally. Was pleasantly surprised and pleased at standard of refurbished rooms. Bright, clean and fresh . Last time in Travelodge was disappointed by dated decor etc but if the revamp programme continues we will look up Travelodges. Pleasant friendly staff.

Apart from not being in the best of locations, it served our purpose well for a local family reunion. The accomodation had been upgraded so the room was clean and tidy and perfectly acceptable for three adults and one child, we all slept well and as the room faced to the rear so there was no traffic noise. Would certainly... More

My husband and I were greeted upon our arrival by a very helpful and friendly team member, who also greeted us the following morning and again that same evening, when we had a good chat about the facilities on offer. She advised us that she would not be on duty when we checked out the following day, and hoped that... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at end of June for a wedding. Check in was fine, young receptionist was polite and told us to come down on the Saturday morning if we wanted a taxi booked for the wedding we were attending later that afternoon. Room was a very good size but was filthy! Bits of wear and tear don't... More

We are sorry to learn of your poor experience Paul M. We require all of our rooms to be clean and fresh for our customers so it is truly regrettable to learn of the condition of your room when you arrived. We also expect all of our staff to be knowledgeable of the area and of taxi services so we... More

I am completely disabled and in a wheelchair and stayed in a disabled room, the room was brilliant and big, but the bathroom should be a wet room with shower, as its very awkward trying to have a bath.

Stayed here for 2 nights at start of June visiting family in the local area. Couldn't fault the hotel, extremely clean and had a great nights sleep! Service was brilliant and was greeted by a happy smiling face when we checked in (think it was the manager). Overall I would rate travelodge very highly and was very impressed with my... More

Had a one night stay very clean and upgraded. We did ring from Ireland the day before to make sure they didn't re sell our room like last year as we would be checking in late. Only downside the rooms at front of hotel could do with triple glazing even with them closed the traffic noise from motorway was terrible... More

Had a very pleasant stay at this Travelodge. Many thanks to a very helpful young man on reception. Lovely, modern, bright, well aired room. We stayed in very warm weather and on arrival our room was very welcoming and cool. Thank you so much. Everything we needed was there for us. I would definitely book again. Free parking was brill... My wife and myself stayed in this travelodge a few days ago just overnight as we wanted a place out of Liverpool on our way to Wales. We were very happy with reception and check in and out was no hassle. We asked for and were given a room change facing the fields to the rear on the top floor... More
