We spent one night in this hotel in our (me and three friends) way to Snowdonia. Dated furniture, old bathroom, a strong smell of dust. The breakfast was for sure not the best I ever had. Is not so cheap so I can't actually recommend it.

Stayed here after attending a wedding in Corwen. Walking in, it looks like a typical Welsh country pub, the carpets and wallpaper were slightly dated, perhaps rustic might be the best word. We were immediately shown up to our rooms. The room itself was large and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Diolch... More

Freindly staff and greated as soon as we arrived. Offerd wi-fi and shown to our rooms. Very clean comfy bed. The food was good and the brekfast ( full English ) Ok the some parts may need a spring clean, but no problems at at. Parking was very easy and on the whole I can not fault the stay.

We stayed in Corwen North Wales as I have been researching my family ancestry there, and found it to be a perfect example of a busy working town. The locals are friendly and happy to accommodate visitors to their town. The main language is Welsh, which is lovely to hear, but you are not made to feel like an 'outsider'... More

When we walkied in the b&B there was no sign saying where the reception was and we only found it by hearing voices which was coming from the kitchen. We had a double room on the 1st floor with a wonder ful view of nothing, except scaffolding. The bedroom is very dated, duvet cover and mattress definitely need replacing but it... More

On a recent tour of Wales, my friends and I found this hotel perfectly good for our needs. We were very pleased to be able to park our motorcycles in the secure alleyway. While it is not a modern hotel, it had all the comforts one would expect. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Hotels.com rate this hotel as... More

Stayed for just one night, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The owner and the staff were all extremely friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, the decor was very much in keeping with the age of the building. The evening meal was superb, with the biggest gammon steak I've ever been served, and the atmosphere in the bar, complete... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Room is spacious and clean, breakfast is good, location is fantastic. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and told us about the history of the building going back to 14th century. It was very interesting to know that the hotel was a coaching inn on... More

Wonderful to stay in a hotel with some character! It made a change from the usual faceless chains, the host and staff are unfailinglingly friendly and helpful. The simple breakfast menu saves having to take ages to decide what to have and the full Welsh was perfecly cooked and HOT! Yum!! Evening meals are also fairly simple but well cooked... More
