Stayed here with elderly parents on the way to Anglesey. David very welcoming. Rooms very comfortable, but unfortunately freezing cold which gave them a damp feel even though they were spotlessly clean. .The bathrooms were huge & the shower fantastic. In the morning had to ask for a heater for the breakfast room as elderly father still shivering. A small... More

We stayed here as we where coming to the area to go white water rafting. We arrived late as stuck In traffic. David was very helpful and said he would wait up till midnight which was very good. The room was a good size, with a very good shower and clean bathroom. As it was a period property the decoration... More

The house is superb and well furnished in William Morris patterns in the rooms. The welcome was warm and friendly and the owner was a mine of information. Each room had a selection of books to read or even buy (proceeds to Help For Heroes). The house has an interesting history and it is described in the welcome folders. One... More

Was looking for a decent place to spend the night on a long drive from Scotland to the South of Wales. Bron-y-Graig proved an excellent choice. Despite arriving later than intended (not helped by a SatNav error which took us down and unmade lane a couple of miles out from Corwen), David was there to greet us and the two... More

We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay here. Judith told us in advance that she would not be there, but left the key in the lobby for us. She then very kindly telephoned our room when she did arrive to check that everything was OK, which it was! We stayed in room 2 which is beautifully decorated... More

We were travelling to a family wedding and arrived at our B&B to be presented with a beautifully restored Victorian house. David, our host, greeted us and took us to our family room overlooking the front of the building with fantastic views. Our room was spacious for a family of 4 with a sofa, tea facilities, TV. etc. The room... More

We like average priced B&Bs in smaller villages. We have travelled every year for over 30 years and rate this as one of, if not the best B&B so far. It's not a mistake that it only has an "excellent" average rating. It has friendly helpful hosts, attractive well decorated rooms, very good breakfast etc etc. I honestly cannot fault... More

Unfortunately there was no one around to meet us on our arrival but an envelope was left with the key to our room and we were told to make ourselves comfortable. The room was lovely and large with a bay window looking out onto a wonderful view. The bed was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was well cooked. The... More

We arrived to a pleasant welcome and was showed to our room. Lady asked to help take one of our many bags (travelling with a 10 month old). Room was large, v clean and had wardrobe, sofa and table for bits of food/drink. Pretty much ideal for us. Nice sitting room with books or a few dvd's for a night... More

After reading mixed reviews we were very weary about booking here but I am so glad we did! We arrived 4 hours after we desired to check in due to severe weather on the way down, We were greeted as if it were no problem at all which instantly made me feel at ease. We had our little boy aged... More
