We are family with young kid stayed on a long weekend, the hotel is situated in small town Corwen surrounded by beautiful mountains, the place is quiet and away from city, perfect for a relaxing holiday, most north welsh attraction are within 1hr 30 mins drive reach. Hotel rooms are big enough, clean and service is really very good. The... More

Second year on the run we stayed in the Stables and had a great 4 day break! There are so many things to do around Corwen, we did lots of walking. The local chip shop is amazing and the Crown pub in Corwen serve the biggest portions I have ever seen. The cottage is home from home, very clean and... More

8 of us spent a weekend riding in Wales and stayed in this B&B that was booked by our friend. They offered safe storage for our bikes, clean and well maintained bedrooms, comfy beds and bedding and a fantastic breakfast.. All for £40 a man... Very hard to find anything about that that's not to like......

Myself and my partner came for a quiet weekend break with our dog and we were not disappointed. Excellent all round accommodation. A great hidden gem! Owners can't do enough to ensure that your stay goes smoothly. The rooms are huge, spotless and faultless. We would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone. If you want a quiet break away... My partner and I stayed overnight at Bron-y-Graig in September so we were as close as possible to our white water rafting experience (an additional 10% saving) for the morning after. I chose the location after looking on line and adored the look of such a splendid Victorian house and we were not disappointed on arrival, the room and bathroom... More

Stayed here with elderly parents on the way to Anglesey. David very welcoming. Rooms very comfortable, but unfortunately freezing cold which gave them a damp feel even though they were spotlessly clean. .The bathrooms were huge & the shower fantastic. In the morning had to ask for a heater for the breakfast room as elderly father still shivering. A small... More

We stayed here as we where coming to the area to go white water rafting. We arrived late as stuck In traffic. David was very helpful and said he would wait up till midnight which was very good. The room was a good size, with a very good shower and clean bathroom. As it was a period property the decoration... More

The house is superb and well furnished in William Morris patterns in the rooms. The welcome was warm and friendly and the owner was a mine of information. Each room had a selection of books to read or even buy (proceeds to Help For Heroes). The house has an interesting history and it is described in the welcome folders. One... More

Was looking for a decent place to spend the night on a long drive from Scotland to the South of Wales. Bron-y-Graig proved an excellent choice. Despite arriving later than intended (not helped by a SatNav error which took us down and unmade lane a couple of miles out from Corwen), David was there to greet us and the two... More

We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay here. Judith told us in advance that she would not be there, but left the key in the lobby for us. She then very kindly telephoned our room when she did arrive to check that everything was OK, which it was! We stayed in room 2 which is beautifully decorated... More
