Our family of four stayed in the Crogen Wing in May and after a fantastic week, no-one wanted to leave. There was talk of a return visit even before we'd reached the top of the long drive. The accommodation itself was perfect for us. The wing is comfortable, elegant and roomy. Everyone can get on with doing their own thing.... More

I couldn't recommend this as a place to stay more. Steeped in history, surrounded by stunning welsh countryside and an endless list of things to do (or not do!). My friends and I went for a long weekend of country walks, riverside BBQ's and even made it on to the tennis court. Not to mention the activities we are returning... More

Having been invited to a wedding that was to take place in the grounds of Crogan we thankfully didn't hesitate to stay with other guests in the main house. Other guests were equaly delighted to stay in nearby Coach House. The warmth of the welcome we received plus the charm and history of the estate was totally different to anywhere... More

Crogen Wing is the ideal accommodation for those who love the British countryside. We spent a very enjoyable week there at the beginning of August and we just loved the place. It is set in the lush Welsh hills and meadows with the picturesque river Dee only 50 yards away. A perfect location for walking, cycling and canoeing and for... More

Crogen wing is an absolutely perfect place to stay while on holiday. The accommodation is cozy and comfortable. Features such as en-suite bedrooms, wood burning stove and aga in the kitchen enhance the experience. The secluded and tranquil setting of the house gives the guests a peaceful and relaxed feeling. The owners are most helpful and we felt very welcome.... More

We have just returned from a weeks stay in The Wing at Crogen Hall set a mere few steps from the banks of the River Dee, which was just stunning. The accommodation was very relaxed and comfortable, with wonderfully proportioned sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has a lovely Aga - fabulous to cook on, and the sitting room has... More

On driving to the Crogen Estate, the wife was having doubts whether we had made the right decision on making this booking. Those doubts were soon unfounded as on our arrival to the estate, we couldn't comprehend how big the grounds were and how well the estate was maintained. My family was shown around the house, which was built in... More

After checking the website and reading the estate sits in 2,500 acres in a peaceful setting I mistakenly imagined we would be free to enjoy the grounds. The information did say use of courtyard and lawned area. What it did not say was it was the back yard where the owners parked their vehicles, let their dogs and chickens roam,... More

Stayed for a week at the Crogen Wing - a refurbished 2 bed spacious, yet cosy, apartment with a complete kitchen. The whole place is well furnished and equipped. Had a great time. This place is ideally located for exploring the rest of North Wales and Snowdonia. Sarah and Henry are excellent hosts - very warm, welcoming and caring (and... More

I had the pleasure to stay at this grand house this weekend with 15 of my friends for a 30th birthday. We stayed from Friday to Monday. As there was no other parties departing on the Friday the landlady suggested that we were very welcome to come before the standard 3pm time advised by Cottages 4 You, which was handy... More
