This was the best accomodation we had experienced in the three weeks we had been travelling. The welcome was great, including the suggestion of where to have dinner. The room was beautiful, tasteful and comfortable. We had a king size bed which was really comfortable. The bathroom was a real treat as it was large enough to move around....it even... More

We picked this hotel based on a lot of positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. We were met by Gordon and made to feel extremely welcome, along with a bit of football banter (He's a Man City glory hunter) :-) The room was okay as we're the beds, however the breakfast was outstanding. Overall it suited us for an overnight... More

Extremely friendly, helpful and lovely home owner, excellent breakfast, cosy even if the rooms are a bit dated. In the center of town, close to the train station and Rydal Penrhos school. Short drive to Llandundno.

My partner and I recently visited this hotel and were warmly received by our hosts Sandy and Gordon. We were very impressed with the decor and facilities on offer. Large comfortable bedrooms each with 4 poster beds and lovely diningroom for quiet and relaxing meals. We highly recommend the hotel to all visitors to Colwyn Bay for that extra upmarket... More

As soon as we walked in I noticed the 'four in a bed' winner framed on the wall. This made me excited that this b+b must be something special. We were greated well by both owners. Our room was right by the front door. The family room which costs more than some others in the building. I don't think I... More

We loved our stay here, the room was gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable. As others have noted the church opposite does have a chiming clock but we quite liked it! Unfortunately the seagulls were much more of a problem - not that there's anything the Bryn Woodlands can do about them! We enjoyed breakfast, our only criticism would be... More

Loved this hotel, the owner was lovely, she gave us an upgraded room because no one was in in, this was room 7 at the front of the hotel. There was a church out front that had bells chiming on the hour, this didn't bother us in any way, near to town centre and within walking distance to the beach,... More
