Just spent an evening at this hotel to experience the Mike Doyle evening. Staff on arrival were welcoming and friendly. Our room was only a standard double but it was lovely. Beautiful huge double bed and a gorgeous black marble bathroom, The most powerful shower I've ever had the good fortune to use. The only minus to the room was... more

I've stopped here many times now, and it was always a reasonable Hotel, but is now nearly excellent. The Pool, gym and Spa annexe is superb, rooms way above standard, and housekeeping clearly do a good job. The location is very easy to get to, just 5 minutes from the M4. Showers are always hot and the gym never over-full.... more

An eventful hen-party weekend enjoyed by all 12 of us. Accommodation was clean, modern and easy on the eye. The warm and friendly staff were very helpful and made you feel most welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our all day spa treatments and use of the pool, steamroom/sauna etc. Fresh fruit and juices provided at poolside as we were individually called... more

What can I say, apart from PEA's! You will never be surprised when you ask what is the seasonal veg, as it will be PEAS! Does not matter if you are having Sea Bass, Curry, or a Steak, you will duly be served up with a large bowl of the wee green fella's! Apart from that the hotel is friendly,... more

I have recently spent a weekend at The Towers Hotel and stayed in a Superior double room which was fantastic. The room was beautiful with a great view and lovely decor. The spa facilities are a must - so relaxing! I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area... more

This overall is a great hotel. The standard room we stayed in was above standard, and was roomy, spotlessy clean and well equipped. Slight lacking on TV channels, for £90 I'd expect Sky, you get the 5 terrestrial channels only. The spa facilities were also brilliant with a 13metre pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi plus a fully equipped and... more

We stayed in the tower hotel for 4 nights in late May and found it to be one of the best hotels we have ever encountered. The food and service in the restaurant was wonderful. The menu had plenty of good quality food to chose from and the breakfast buffet was always well stocked with hot food and fresh fruit... more

This hotel was the poshest one we could find near to the Afan Forest mountain bike centre, where we were planning to spend the bank holiday weekend charging up and down its vertiginous paths. Therefore we took a flyer with The Towers. On arriving first impressions were not good – a fairly grotty reception wasn't enhanced by being surrounded by... more

Good hotel with large modern rooms and good facilities. Food is good in the resteraunt but strangely every main arrives with a large bowl of peas? Possibly not the best bet if you have young children as the facilities are geared towards the Spa clients. the restraunt has only one baby high chair (apparently people bring their own). Only other... more

Really enjoyed our stay, ideally placed to visit the Beacons. The only drawback was that you had to be in the restaurant by 8.30pm to order food. more
