We stayed at The Towers for my mums 70th birthday. The birthday girl and the ladies in the party enjoyed a relaxing Spa afternoon. Honey , Stella and the team could not do enough for us we were treated like royalty and all thoroughly enjoyed our treatments following which we relaxed by the pool and conservatory. The men enjoyed some peace with a few pints and Sky Sports in The Tap Bar. Our evening meal was beautiful, Kathrine, Sarah and the team could not do enough for us amazing service as always!! Finished our evening off with the 90s tribute and fun was had. Spacious comfy rooms and breakfast was fresh and plentiful….cant wait for our next stay.

Lovely staff. Julie on reception was a Saint dealing with my numerous requests. Food was really good, with generous potions. Loved our spa treats from Catlin and Honey. Ashley the bar staff was a hoot. Thank you guys for a fabulous Hen party.

Stayed one night for buisness meetings at the hotel. My lower ground floor room was spotessly clean and in good repair. The bed was comfortable if a bit soft for my taste. Staff were friendly and professional. Shower amenities are minimal. You might want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. If not, what the Hotel supplies is fine for a short stay. Hotel was very busy, with a wedding reception, tribute night and our group. Staff seemed to be able to keep up. The Towers Hotel has EV charging at a reasonable tariff. Starting the day with a full charge in the car is a big plus. Included breakfast covered the basics: There is a cold buffet with cereal, musli, granola, a bit of fruit, yogurt and milk. The cooked breakfast also had the standard items, but I didn't try it. Staff serve the cooked breakfast from chafing dishes.

I have to say this place have gone down hill! We had a nice welcome on arrive however we went to our room.its very dated, the leather on our beds had all peeled off (that wasn’t the end of the world) we went down for our evening meal..,our soup was disgusting it was so thick it was like a puree..our bread rolls was stale..my main meal come out which was steak and chips..I wasn’t given a stake knife my partner then asked for a stake knife for me the waiter carried on doing other things.i had almost finished my food by time my partners meal come out! We got told the spa was open at 7am We arrived at the spa at 7.50 the lights was off.the desk shutters was down and no towels to be seen!

Not long come from there just stopped for a quiet drink but never been spoken to or about like that ever in my life. Greeted by the girl who was behind the bar with "we'll be closing at 5.30pm" abruptly & with attitude to which my partner said that's fine no problem at all we'll be gone by then when this ASH whoever he is or whatever his job title is looked up at my partner & then looked at his watch & shouted out loud on the top of his voice from the other room to the girl behind the bar about me & my partner where we were just sat on the other side of the room " have you told THEM they need to go by 5.30pm", so unprofessional if you ask me !!! I then went over to complain to be approached by NICOLA one of the managers there who was about as useful as a chocolate teapot with dealing with the issue & clearly didn't care or wasn't interested in what I had to say at all. What a waste of 2 drinks & £12 of my partners money will never ever be calling there again !!!

What a fantastic experience!! 29th December On arrival was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from reception team! Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, Couldn’t believe we had sky tv ! We did have a small issue with the tv remote. Quick call down to reception and within two minutes we had a knock on the door from one of the amazing reception team to rectify the problem with a smile. We attended the Beyoncé tribute that was amazing that good we confirmed the booking for our hotel. The hotel was very busy that evening and tried our luck for room service the following morning. Although they were very busy the same lady who sorted our tv situation out kindly managed to accommodate us. The breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you for a fantastic stay your general manager should be very proud of you all!

We went to a tribute night....the staff started clearing away the carvery and stripping the serving tables before we had all been served! In breakfast there is a "make shift" partition (made by some random wooden tables that are plonked and look very unprofessional) and a member of staff shouts over "what do you want" before they hand you a small plastic blue tray for you to carry your food on. All the food was pretty basic and not anything I would want to eat again. The management refuse to take on board any constructive criticism.......if you don't have book it, then don't guys! All in all, a pretty rough place that needs to up it's game! We were a party of 19, and we were all disappointed!

The staff were so miserable and off-hand. Service was slow despite the place being empty. We had difficulty in having our order completed satisfactorily. This is the second time at this restaurant but we shall not be coming back here again.

Spa day - dirty pool with collections of sludge/ mould around the drains. Steam room had cold water dripping from the ceiling . Lunch was tapas style but all dishes were served cold in a cold room, dressed in wet robes ! If you wanted a drink you had to get it yourself from the third floor ( unless it was an upgraded drink, in which case staff were happy to serve you!). Massage was quite frankly painful and resulted in soreness after asking for a light pressure . This was a 40th birthday present for my husband and was absolutely devastating . After contacting the hotel and receiving no response I feel I have no choice but to leave this review. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
