We treated ourselves to a fabulous weekend at The Harbourmaster in the Aeron Queen. Although it's the most expensive room, it was worth every penny to sleep with the huge doors open overlooking the harbour and the sea breeze blowing in all night. If you are looking for an early quiet night, this room is not for you on a... More

This is a gem of a place. Right on the harbour, looking out across the water, a sea view from some of the windows. Beautifully appointed and comfortable rooms with hairdryers, bath robes, soft slippers, homemade biscuits and proper teapigs and coffee. Bed and duvet extremely comfortable. Food is also delicious, so a stay is highly recommended.

My wife and I treated ourselves to a well deserved kids-free weekend. Aberaeron is a beautiful place and so chilled out and relaxing. It’s lovely how all the houses are each painted a different pastel colour. The Harbourmaster was the cherry on the top. The staff work extremely hard and we found them to be very accommodating and polite. We... More

This was our second trip to the Harbourmaster, and it was just as good this time as the last. We stayed in the Martha Jane room, which had a lovely terrace where you could just about see the sea. The meal we had in the bar was excellent - best squid I have eaten in a long time, and the... More

On a day trip to Aberaron, the glorious weather tempted us to stay over. We found excellent accommodation (no 3 Pen Cei next door), and booked a meal at the Harbourmaster - normally a safe haven. By coincidence, we sat next to another couple, and we all ordered the same - welsh lamb, dauphinoise potatoes, ratatouille, It arrived (as always)... More

We turned up on the spur of the moment on Saturday night. The welcome and hospitality was lovely. Food well worth it. Accommodation on a par if not better than boutique hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast well you have to stay to experience it. Diolch

I took my wife here for her birthday for two nights , we booked the restaurant for the evening for fifteen friends and had to change it to 17 as a couple more turned up , it was no trouble at all for the staff to accommodate the extra people and we were all served with beautiful food by very... Booked for a relaxing weekend break and we're not disappointed. Stayed in the JohnHenry room with a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea ( in fact the pictures on the website do not do this room justice) which was of superior quality and would highly recommend. The overall quality of the food and the staff was exceptional, will definitely visit again... More

We had a lovely room with a fabulous view of the harbour. It was bright, spacious, comfortable, stylish and the staff are excellent. Dinner and breakfasts were also really good. The hotel is perfectly situated for site-seeing in the area. My only quibble is the noise from the bar... if you need an early night, make sure you get a... More

Booked here as my other half loves the place & it wasn't a disappointment! The starters were tasty but the mains we chose...Haddock Two Ways..were delicious!! Great presentation & surprisingly filling!! You must try this! The restaurant was quiet which meant there wasn't huge amount of atmosphere which was a shame but the food made up for it.
