5* is not really sufficient to rate this guest house. The very warm genuine welcome, is backed by superb rooms and breakfasts that are full of yummy goodness with a really lovely service. If you want to fully understand quality and value then visit Pen Cei.

We stay here every year to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays combined. Sometimes we stay at the end of the year for an extra treat! This time was extra special to us. We booked for 2 nights in our favourite room Aeron. Lesley and John are amazing and go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable and... More

Having been to 3 Pen Cei twice previously, I felt it deserves a good review. Rooms are beautifully decorated, plush, well equipped and bathroom is big and bright with a large shower. We stayed in Dyfi for the third time and was as pleased this time as we were the first time! Hosts are so warm and welcoming, always ready... More

Absolutely a 5 star experience at this high class bed and breakfast. Warm and welcoming hosts made us feel very at home and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy with a beautiful view of the harbour and the bathroom with its freestanding bath was to die for!. The breakfasts were amazing;quality food and again nothing was... More

a friendly welcome with warm welsh cakes & tea, amazingly comfortable beds & top quality linen, flat screen tv, superb shower, sadly no harbour view as the twin is out the back but we didn't come to sit in our room and look out of the window! Incredible breakfasts, cooked to order. Lesley is a natural host and nothing was... More

There is a huge attention to every detail. The welcome is warm, the rooms are immaculate, and the breakfast, with local produce, is amongst the best we have had. This is a perfect base to walk the coastal path, and to eat at the excellent harbourmaster restaurant which is literally next door. Couple all this with the view of the... More

Where do we start? We came across the place while looking for somewhere reasonably priced in Aberaeron, but were in for quite a surprise. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and freshly cooked welshcakes on the bench out the front overlooking the harbour. The bedroom was excellent! The bed was the comfiest either of us have ever slept... More

I cannot imagine how I could have had a more perfect stay than this. I was booked in by my company which has a local site. But when I arrived I felt very much on a luxurious holiday: warm welcome with tea and Welsh cake delivered to room, gorgeous furniture, high-end sheets, pillows fit for a princess, flowers, exquisite bathroom...
