This is the worst Residence Inn. It is in desperate need of a full remodel. Furniture very worn, burnt spot on vinyl floor in kitchen. Main television is 19" CRT model.

My family is in a long-term stay at this Residence Inn due to a house fire, so I have a different perspective than a tourist staying overnight. After seeing so many negative reviews, I have few positive things to say about this hotel.
1. The Residence Inn accepts pets which means our pet can stay with us while our house...

It doesn't take too much to impress me. And the staff here did. Thank goodness for them! But sometimes that's not enough to save a property.
This is, by far, the WORST Residence Inn in which I have ever stayed. As a matter of fact, the worst Marriott I've been in. First of all, I called two days early to...

Located in East Memphis, this hotel is convenient some local hospitals, as well as to numerous stores and restaurants. It is not, however, convenient to the downtown area nor to many of Memphis' more well-known tourist attractions.
The hotel is fairly large, with the rooms spread among several small buildings. Only one of the buildings has elevators. Those staying in...

I frequently stay 100+ nights a year at Marriott properties. Sadly, this hotel may be the worst Residence Inn among the many I've tried. Rooms are really worn and tired. Renovations that have been done are on the extremely cheap side...just sloppy execution overall. The hotel feels like a Super 8 from the 1980's. The furniture belongs in a Goodwill...

Spent the night with our two older teenagers while in Memphis to see Wicked. Residence Inn is one of the few chains with a 2 bedroom apartment. Who would think to ask if there are doors on the bedrooms? There aren't. Apparently removed in some prior renovation. That's the whole point of a 2 BR apartment, to get some privacy...

Even if you're just passing through, there's nothing close by. There's a couple of fast food restaurants close but if you're hungry after a long days driving you'll have to drive somewhere for a decent meal.

We booked this room on line for 4 adults for one night with a free voucher. When we got to the hotel, the front desk person saw all of us, but put us in a room with one double bed. When we called down to the front desk, we were informed that this room was all they had. We asked...

We didn't have internet connection available when I booked, so I hadn't reviewed Trip Advisor and had relied on AAA Tour Book instead.
Good: Very comfortable bed & OK sleeper-couch. Free high-speed internet. Friendly staff. Good fitness center & self-laundry facility.
Bad: Our suite was noisy for a Marriott. Trains went by regularly. The suite's two windows didn't open so...
