My GPS took me through some questionable looking areas on the way to this motel. Thankfully, the part of town it was situated in turned out to be decent. The motel property butts up against a Cracker Barrel, and there are several other hotels surrounding the Red Roof. Check in for myself was easy, however, the gentleman in front of... More

We found this hotel to be in a good location, with easy access to the motorway & restaurants nearby. The room was adequate, however there was a cigarette burn on the bedside table & we had asked for a non smoking room. There was no breakfast, however Crackabarrel is right next door. It a long drive, about 15mile to Memphis... More

Good price for a couple of nights, it is out of town but easy enough to get around. The room was clean and didn't smell of smoke even though people stand out on the walkway smoking. If you are only staying for a night I would suggest staying in town.

For a two-night stay at Memphis, we chose this Red Roof Inn in East Memphis. We always prefer Red Roof Inns as they're dog-friendly and we always travel with our mini-poodle. We reserved a Non-Smoking Superior King. This is a hotel that is doing some renovation, although I think that they still have a ways to go. The positives for... More

The place is not bad but not great. I stay for the Beale music festival. I had to clean the tub drainage of hair and debris. The price is average. No bed bug. Room is clean. Microwave and Fridge in the room. No breakfast but Waffle house and McDonald is near by. I will stay again.

Three stars doesn't mean I was disappointed. On the contrary, three stars puts this Red Roof in at the top of the motels in its price range. What made it so? The rooms were clean, good size and the A/C was relatively new and quiet with thermostat setting for desired temp, but best of all was the staff. Dallas, was... More

This was the first Red Roof we stayed at during our cross country tour. Hopefully it won't be the last. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. There is a notice at the front desk that anyone who wants a non smoking room has to leave a $100.00 refundable deposit. This is a great policy because too many times... More

I had booked a room at another motel 3 weeks previous to staying here. The day we were to arrive, they called and said they had overbooked. Dallas, the night manager at RRI, was so helpful. He arranged for 2 connecting rooms for my husband and children. While we were there, he was friendly and extremely helpful. The room was... More

Red roof inn, Memphis East. Good price for a room, stayed with family of four with a GSD. Pet friendly, no fee for my GSD. Nice area, gave my GSD a good walk. Friendly staff, ok rooms just for a one night stay on the way to Annapolis. Close to restaurants, gas stations and highway 40 entrance.

We traveled to Memphis in July to visit Graceland (I'm a big fan of Elvis Presley). We rented a room at Red Roof Inn and was not a pleasant stay. We asked for non-smoker room, yet our room smelled like cigarettes and the sheets had cigarette burns! They were filled with holes from cigarettes. It smelled really bad and the... More
