My wife and came to Memphis to enjoy Beale Street. This hotel was close and cheap. We went to bed a midnight and by 8am Sunday morning my entire right arm was covered with bed bug bites. This location is unsanitary. I reported to house keeping and all she said was "that's awful". Really!! Four days later I'm still treating... More

We arrived in Memphis late and tired. We did a quick internet search and found this motel. It sounded too god to be true, exceptionally cheap and in a close location to the attractions. We called in and were looked after by a lovely lady -Patsy ? I think. She made us laugh, told us where to go and where... More

This was my 4th stay here and although I've given it 3 stars the location is 41/2 stars and the staff 5 stars. All the staff where super courteous and helpful. On check in Annette was helpful in arranging a cab downtown. And when I found I had no tv remote I called the desk and the manager delivered one... More

We were looking for an inexpensive place on the East side of Memphis and (innocents abroad looking at a map) thought this seemed OK. Our taxi driver, an ex-MPD cop, warned us about going out at night. The area, South Pauline, was run down and poverty-stricken. The reception staff were OK, but when we drove round back to the room,... More

That's it. I'm done with motel 6. It was our go to motel on our 90 day road trip. Half way through and they have been cut off. Sheets that don't fit beds. My god. The beds. My boyfriend and I have sworn to never sleep in a motel 6 again. The beds are so old the springs have gone... More

Price ok but location dangerous at night. Room not bad but not good either. Good parking. Place was a bit rough. Did not really feel safe. No breakfast. Fridge and microwave in room but no coffee making stuff. Electrics not safe. Checked out after first day. On check in my reservation was not found.

...are ALL you will have in this dumpy, dirty, dive in a sketchy part of town. I stay "cheap" whenever I can, but have never experienced such a place. Area seemed so unsafe-- characters hanging in the check-in area and by entrance-- that I propped a piece of furniture against the door.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Didn't have high expectations, just a clean room and a bed. The first day, no one cleaned our room. We came back in the evening and the bed was still un-made, everything was as we left it. I thought maybe it was because it was a holiday. The second day, they did clean our room,... More

The staff was very friendly and we felt like we were in good hands. We only spent one night here. The neighborhood seemed a little seedy but it's a very short drive to downtown/Beale Street and we had no issues of any kind. It ended up being a good choice for us. There were some minor stains on the sheets... More

The room did not exceed my expectation. The sheets used were not very comfortable. However, the staff was friendly. There is a Walgreens on the opposite side of the motel and this makes it easier for you to find things especially if it's urgent.
