We booked this hotel on the fly as we drove through Tennessee with the family, en route to Nashville. The hotel is half way through a renovation, but was still offering very good service and great rooms, where renovated. The staff were very helpful and the rooms very good. There is an indoor pool and a great gym with lots... More

This hotel was under construction and the trolleys had been replaced by a bus service. We did not get the room we booked but the facilities were adequate and the room comfortable. The valet guys and doormen were excellent

Recently stayed for 2 weekend nights at the Sheraton Memphis Downtown. The location is good, but a little too far to walk to the downtown goodies. There is a $1 green bus that takes you down to the Beale Street area if you don't mind waiting in the heat. The bus was cooled. The room was recently renovated and was... More

The purpose of this review is not necessarily to tell you that the Sheraton Memphis is the best hotel ever - but it is to tell you that they have THE best hotel employees I have personally ever dealt with, and I have done a lot of traveling and used to do it full time. Don't know if all there... More

We spent one night at this hotel. The hotel was under construction making the public areas inaccessible. The front desk was temporary in a small meeting room. The staff at the front desk, however, were helpful and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious, the beds comfortable. The Memphis Trolley is available just outside the hotel for easy transportation to... More

The hotel is under construction which makes everything a little less polished than normal. Valet guys were quick and polite. Room was comfortable and clean. Stayed on club level which was really nice for breakfast and evening snacks and drinks right there. Excellent fitness center with cardio machines, free weight and weight machines.

All Hotel Personnel that we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. When we thought we were stranded downtown in the dark one night because of a freaky power outage, Rudolf, a hotel employee was on Beale Street at the right time and the right place to rescue us, and even though he was on his break he still... He is one great employee and we are so lucky to have him on our staff! I know where you will be staying when you come back next year....right here...at the... More

From Wisconsin and first time in Memphis. My boyfriend and I enjoyed everything about the trip. I read some of the reviews about this hotel before we booked and I must admit, I was a little leary. I can honestly say that I'm glad we stayed here. We loved it! All of the staff were very nice especially Simon in... More

We stayed here for one night. When we first got to the hotel, they charged us $22 for valet parking. Then they made us wait in the lobby for an hour while the rooms were being "cleaned". Dear Ari T, My sincere apologies to you for the wait on the room. I don't know what time you came to the hotel before check-in time it is possible that you may have to wait as there are many times we have a full house the night before. As far as the parking, the fees are posted on our... More

We managed to get a great deal to stay here for a couple of days in order to visit the city. The hotel room was really nice and the lobby area was very clean.
