I bid on this hotel on priceline. got the room for $70.00 a night. For 3 1/2 star rating i expected better. the beds were nice. the tv was terrible. their website advertises free internet but it is only from the lobby. you have to pay $12.00 a day for parking which i was shocked about! i have never ran... more

Stayed at the Memphis Marriott Downtown for a business gathering. The hotel is located next to the convention center and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The room with a king size bed was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. I did not hear any outside the room activity, so I was able to sleep without interruption.... more

I stayed here on April 25. It was VERY clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is lovely. My daughter and I also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. But the best part about the hotel is the service. Derrick, the wonderful man over loss prevention found my ring that had fallen on the floor below the desk... more

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. Like other reviews mention, you have to pay to use internet in your room but there is free wireless in the lobby. The trolly stops right outside the hotel and stops at or near Beale Street, the Civil Rights Museum,... more

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and relatively inexpensive for a supposed 4 star hotel. It is far from Beale Street and the party part of town. You will need to take a cab to get to the action. Cab far plus tip is in the $8-9 range each way to Beale Street. There are several hotels closer to the action... more

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the begining of the month. Let me start by saying the people who work there are super nice and really accomodating. They really do work hard to be of help. The room was quite nice with a view of the Mississippi and the downtown area. The linens lovely and cushy. The... more

The Memphis Marriott Downtown is a 3 diamond & 3 star hotel which means for $200+ a night you do not get anything extra. There is no wireless internet in the rooms and to hook up to the wired internet in the room it is another $12.95. They do not offer continental breakfast or even coffee service in the lobby.... more

We stayed at the Marriott after a horrible one night stay at the hotel next door to the Marriott. We requested early check in with no problem. The room was fantastic, the front desk staff was super. The bellmen were great and I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We only stayed one night but the service was... more
