Stayed at the Memphis Marriott Downtown for a business gathering. The hotel is located next to the convention center and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The room with a king size bed was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. I did not hear any outside the room activity, so I was able to sleep without interruption.... more

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and relatively inexpensive for a supposed 4 star hotel. It is far from Beale Street and the party part of town. You will need to take a cab to get to the action. The Memphis Marriott Downtown is a 3 diamond & 3 star hotel which means for $200+ a night you do not get anything extra. There is no wireless internet in the rooms and to hook up to the wired internet in the room it is another $12.95. They do not offer continental breakfast or even coffee service in the lobby.... more
