We spent one night at this hotel and it was perfect. From the location to the food and staff everything was brilliant. The small touches like the complimentary port and truffles delivered to your room to the quaint decor just added to the experience. Well worth staying at this hotel if you are visiting Memphis and a visit to Graceland... More

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights while holidaying in the U.S. Was met at the airport by Prince (a driver that the hotel use) - who was friendly and accommodating. Arriving at the hotel we made our way to our room which overlooked the Mississippi River and had a 4 poster bed - it was lovely! We went straight... More

If the usual chain properties (e.g. Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Four Seasons, etc.) appeals to you this is not your place. And if you like buffet breakfasts (with everyone handling your food, sneezing on it, etc.) this is definitely not your place. BUT, if you want a very special accommodation, in a small "inn" style property, which provides courteous, personal,... More

This hotel is immaculate and accomodates your every need! The room attendant, Dora, pampered us and I truly felt I was on a dream vacation - from the moment I woke up! The Gourmet Breakfast included with our stay was delicious and our room was back in the same state it was when we arrived every night - with a... More

Stayed as two couples early April for 3 nights as part of a USA/Mexico holiday. What a great choice , lives up to all expectations we had from looking at previous reviews, totally 5 star in every way. very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff, nothing too much trouble. Beautifully designed rooms with all the extras you would expect and an... More

What a treat! After driving through the rather gritty suburbs of Memphis, the small community of Harbor Town came as a hugely pleasant surprise. It's beautiful for an evening stroll along the mississippi, and the hotel itself, although very expensive, was exquisite and therefore worth every dollar. The lobby area has an intimate and classy vibe, and the staff could... More

I noticed an early review talked about a very noisy A/C we had a similar problem in room 324 but I have to admit it didn't bother me as much, in all my years travelling I have come to accept the noise of the A/C is the price you pay for having it. On arrival and for the next 24+... More

We were warmly welcomed and greeted with a glass of wine upon arrival. We had a lovely room, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, large bathtub. It was a nice evening so we ate upstairs on their rooftop (covered) terrace with a view of the busy Mississippi. A full breakfast is included in the rate.... order off the menu, not a buffet.... We just got back from a short trip to Memphis. We stayed at River Inn for one night and loved it because it was away from the crowds of the city. It is a unique and special little place, and very peaceful. Our room was very clean, quiet and perfect view of the river. We ate on the 4th floor... More

This is a fantastic hotel but it doesn't score top marks because of the air conditioning (AC). We stayed two nights. On arrival we were given a glass of wine. A very nice touch. We were then assigned room 326. Whatever you do, do not accept room 326 unless you can put up with noise that is equivilant to Concord... More
