This is a very nice Residence Inn for Residence Inns. It appears to have been completely remodeled recently. We had a huge room with upgraded appliances in our kitchen, two televisions, a separate bedroom area, large bath...with all new linens and draperies. It's about three blocks from Beale street and very conveniently located. Highly recommend this place. more

Stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. We had originally booked the Peabody, but changed to this--a block further from the action and cheaper. I'm so glad we did!! I don't know how full the hotel was, but we felt like the only guests in a place where people wanted us to be there! All the staff (front... more

We found this hotel to be interested in meeting our needs. The rooms were spacious, clean, private and very comfortable It was central to so many activities in Memphis the we found it easier to get around than we had anticipated.. The hairdryer stopped working but before we could tell anyone we met Danny in the elevator who does maintenance.... more

My friends and I stayed at the Residence Inn for 4 nights in April. There were five of us and we fit comfortably into their 2 bedroom suite. The room was very large with a big living room (couch and chairs, tv, desk, and dining table with 4 chairs) and full kitchen (oven, stovetop, microwave, full-size fridge, dishwasher) and two... more

We've stayed here at least three times as we travel here two to three times a year to take my son to see a doctor at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. The first two stays were great. Nice clean room, friendly staff and great downtown location. Our last stay the room was not so clean. We found a half eaten, old... more

I spent two weeks in Residence Inn Memphis Downtown with my wife, so I got a pretty good picture of the hotel. Considering price and quality this hotel is a top choice. It's not luxurious, but still very nice in everyway. Personnel was friendly and free breakfast and "dinner" were nice bonus. Location is excellent and other hotels of same... more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as the first leg of a long vacation weekend. We arrived earlier than check-in time, but Jo Anne at the desk quickly checked us in to an available room, which really set the tone for a number of positive interactions we had with the staff, whom I can't praise enough. Overall... more

Whilst I wouldn't rave on about this hotel as much as the other posters I would say that this is a nice hotel and a good pick to stay in downtown Memphis. As regards parking - you are advised to call the hotel for directions to the closest parking lot, but, for some reason, the lady who answered when I... more

I stayed at the Residence Inn Downtown in Memphis recently with a group of girlfriends, and we had a great time! We booked a 2 bedrooom, 2 bath suite and found it to be a comfortable stay for a group. Things we liked about it: Excellent service from the beginning to end of our stay - the receptionist, valets, and... more

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Dowtown Memphis for 10 days while on business. The hotel is located a few blocks away from Beale street and is a fairly recent restoration of an historic building. My room was on the 12th floor and had a really nice layout (see pictures) It was spotless, nicely decorated and had a very... more
