I stayed here for approximately 2 months after I moved to Memphis, awaiting my downtown apartment to vacate. At the end of my stay, my room was broken into and all contents stolen. Our stay was for two nights. If the rate had not been so cheap (and non-refundable, we got both nights for the price of one), I probably would have been tempted to spend most of my one day looking for a different place. The hotel needs major cleaning, lots of unidentified goop on walls of kitchen, oven filthy. A car alarm went off in the parking lot for over 3 hours, but there are no employees on site to deal with emergencies after 11:00 pm. People were coming and going all night, partying, and slamming doors. Very noisy. There was an abandoned car in the parking lot that looked as if someone lived in it. I did not feel safe there. My 6 year old and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I arrived and the room type I reserved was not available which almost ruffled my feathers for real. Hotel is poorly maintained with extra sloppy housekeeping. Walls need cleaning and repainting, carpets need replacing. We stayed one night in a queen suite. The pullout couch had sheets on it that had not been changed from the last visitors!!! At 4:45 am, our neighbors in the next room either awoke to have an argument or just arrived home drunk... more
