One of my favorite boutique hotels. Wonderful hospitality, clean and rooms are comfortable and more importantly, quiet and dark at night.

This is a very nice boutique hotel in downtown Memphis, walking distance to Beale Street and South Main Arts District, but we utilized the vintage the streetcar on the corner because of the stifling heat. -- Many restaurants in the vicinity, but choose them carefully as many of them cater to the tourist trade and are mediocre. -- We took... I stayed here in April 2012 with my boyfriend. We were really excited because we don't usually splurge on "fancy" hotels, but I got an outstanding deal on Priceline, so we went for it. From the moment we arrived, I felt completely welcome. From the valets to the front desk, the staff were incredibly hospitable. I've read some reviews where... More

Thank you for your comments. I am glad that you enjoyed your overall stay. I was surprised to read your comments about the carpet and I will try my best to figure out why that could have happened - it is honestly the first time I have ever heard that from anyone. I will continue to ensure that our Service... More

Lovely room with high standard of decor and good size bathrooms. In quiet location but close to Beale Street. Rooftop bar with superb views over city and Mississippi river. They have a rooftop party on Thursday night with band playing but don’t tell you this on check in. Good made to order breakfast but this is expensive and service slow.... More

Great boutique hotel, great roof to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. One block to trolley. Great staff. had flat tire and the awesome valet aired it up with his personal pump and got us on our way. Small bar/ restaurant, eighty 3, but food was very good. Business center only one computer.

Management response:

The Fourth of July was fun for many of the guests who enjoyed the view of the fireworks from our rooftop. I am glad you were able to have this experience. I will also be sure our Front Office Manager is aware of the kindness of the valet and we will make certain he is recognized for his exemplary service.... More

We stayed at the Madison in Memphis. We visited Graceland and called a cab to get us there, then from Graceland took the Sun Studios bus and toured Sun Studios. They brought us back to town near Beale Street so it was a perfect location. The staff was friendly.

I stayed here while traveling on business. The hotel is in a good location, close to the streetcars as well as a short walk down to beale street. If you're looking for BBQ, rondevous is very close. Overall the hotel was very nice and the room was great. They did include a $10 voucher for breakfast, which I unfortunately didn't... More
