The rooftop bar has a nice view and seating for enjoying cocktails with a nice breeze. The drinks are pretty expensive and inconsistent. Also the staff is dressed is skin-tight leggings that fit a more party crowd than what was there.

My wife and I spent our first night as a married couple at the Madison on May 31st. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Since there did not seem to be too many people staying at the hotel that weekend, check-in was very simple and quick. **If you want to save some money, park in the covered parking garage just... My wife and I spent four wonderful days in Memphis. We chose the Madison as our hotel based upon the website and Tripadvisor reviews. What a true gem of a hotel; it truly exceeded our expectations and played a large role in the satisfaction we had with the trip. The location is great, close enough to Beale St to be... More

My wife and I stayed at the Madison for the first time over the weekend. Once we arrived, we actually had a few hiccups (room wasn't ready, TV issues, etc.), but the problems were quickly resolved. They offered us a room upgrade (king suite with river view) and also extra credits for eating in the awesome eighty3 restaurant. All of... More

What a great hotel. We went to Memphis for a weekend getaway and to visit family. The hotel staff is very professional and courteous. The room was clean and well appointed. Valet parking was a breeze thanks to Billy. From the roof top terrace there is a great view, nice drinks and music. The hotel is near many attractions. Thanks... More

An older building lovingly restored. The rooms and public areas are quirky and inviting. The breakfast restaurant is fun and delicious. Service is quite good. Location is quiet but just a few quick steps from the clamor of Beale Street. Highly recommended as the best place to stay in Memphis.

My wife and I stayed at the Madison to celebrate a 9th wedding anniversary. We selected the hotel based upon Tripadvisr reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel is well appointed and has an outstanding staff. The reception personnel, doorman, and concierge were all friendly and very helpful---we felt genuinely welcomed. Our junior suite was spacious, comfortable and well decorated.... More

Lovely elegant lobby with grand piano and art deco furnishings. Friendly lady on reception though link with housekeeping could be better. There were 4 of us checking in but we were left only 2 towels on day 2. We had been out all day on our 2nd day and hoped there would be clean towels and more toilet paper by... More
