Was a bit sceptical after reading other reviews but found this hotel to be nice if a bit outdated.Would benefit from a makeover.Smoking Room was unusual as usually my wife has to go outside for a cigarette but not here. The hotel is near to Autozone Park and only a ten minute walk to Beale Street. As others have said, the area is... This hotel offered basic amenities – room w/frig, wifi and continental breakfast for a reasonable price, but the one OUTSTANDING feature is its location to Beale Street/Mud River Park. In fact, when we checked in walk up customers were being turned away because the hotel was fully booked. Anywhere downtown requires public parking, the parking fees involved and driving around... The hotel is basic lodging...the 4th of July weekend was busy but not bad. The walls are very thin so ear plugs are a must. The room was fine not too small clean, the beds were comfortable. It is with in walking distance to everything you will want to see downtown.

I stayed here March 2015 for a Grizzlies vs. Warriors game! I make this trip annually. The hotel is a bit dated. The beds HOWEVER? Are SOOOOOO Comfortable. It was cold so didnt get to dip into the rooftop pool. Jazz Lounge onsite. Breakfast was waffles, and biscuits and gravy. Cereal. Milk. Juice. Could use some renovations (elevators, amenities, breakfast,... More

Memphis is such a wonderful city. So much to do and so much history. I stayed two weeks during Elvis' anniversary of his death. I would strongly recommend a visit to this area. Take in the wonderful attractions and city. I stayed in this accommodation which I found even less than poor. Nothing worked. Lightbulb blown and never replaced, Water... More

Seems like an ok value. Doesn't feel clean, but I didn't find anything that would say it wasn't. Maybe it's just old. Smells like old stale smoke. Found a huge Cockroach, just one - killed it and never saw another. Was harassed by the homeless around the corner. My wife did not feel safe even with my company going to... More

If you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay and don't care - sure go here! But we didn't mind as we spent most of our time out! Dirty, broken bathroom, noisy AC and a lift we got stuck in for 20 minutes with no one answering the alarm. Bad breakfast, damp carpets - the list goes on.... But it's... More

Booked hotel because of location, price and brand name. Arrived at hotel looked run down but it was 10:30 pm and didn't want to look elsewhere. All rooms were supposed to be non smoking but all they did was say non smoking, room smelled horrible. Phone and internet not working in room. Next morning changed rooms, alittle better in smell... Elevator needed repairs as well as all areas like mouldings and trim. Hotels smells from air freshener. There were food crumbs on the floor in our unit when we arrived and the crumbs were still there when we left 3 days later. Noisy dog in the next room. Poor insulated walls. Breakfast room in 9th floor room. No juice first... More
