This Doubletree is in a nice area in east Memphis surrounded by nice shopping and restaurants. You can tell by the exterior design that this hotel has been around for quite some time. The lobby area was functional and clean but not upscale in any way. The front desk staff was friendly and professional and had me on my way... more

I've stayed at this place six times and my last stay wa the last straw. From televisions that don't work to downright lazy, inattentive staff, this place should be have it's Doubletree franchise pulled. After a tv didn't work and I forgot my cell phone charger in the room they moved me from - it took TWO DAYS - TWO... more

Did the check-in on line. When I arrived they had to go hr the whole routine to get me registered. The first room I was given was 90 deg F, I called the front desk, they sent up a key to another room. I open the door only to see a very surprised person setting at the desk. I quickly... more

Stayed at Doubletree East Memphis for one night. Priceline bid for 44$. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the airport. I did not take the shuttle, but I believe they would pick you up at the airport. The area around the hotel had a bunch of restaurants and shops. There was Whole Foods nearby. The room was adequate for... more

My wife and friends and I have stayed at the Double Tree on numerous occasions on our regular visits from England and have always been impressed by the staff. The rooms have always been clean and tidy, as they are every morning when we vacate the room. Extremely handy for Beale Street and the Elvis sites in the centre of... more

We booked the Doubletree East Memphis through Priceline for a ridiculously low rate for a one night Saturday stay. We simply wanted a quick getaway. The hotel's location is actually terrific if you aren't doing downtown/Beale St. It is located in the far east side of the city in a fairly quiet commercial/residential area. It is next door to a... more

Okay, so it didn't go so well at first with the Shuttle service. I called for the shuttle right before we picked up our luggage. It was supposed to pick us up in 25 minutes, we went out to wait about 10-15 minutes from that time....no shuttle 45 minutes later. Another call to the hotel, they were very apolegetic and... more

First of all, I'd like to say that I usually don't complain like this about many things, but I feel like I must post this as a warning! My stay started out with being assigned a room that was already in use, so imagine the feeling of walking into the room and running into some fat dude in his underwear!... more

Okay, so the hotel is nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. However, DO NOT BE FOOLED with their airport shuttle service. The hotel is 30 mins away from the airport. They only run the shuttle once an hour from the hotel. They also cater primarily to the airline crews. They will not think twice about boarding the airline crews first...and... more

This was a last minute decision after searching for weeks to find a hotel in a decent area for a decent price. We ended up getting a room for 79 a night. It was in a nice, quiet area. There is a movie theater right around the corner. The kids loved the indoor pool and the exercise room. I loved... more
