This was formally a Holiday Inn, and as I understand it, the hotel couldn't make the grade and was sent on it's own. It shows too. There was a group of us and all had similar experiences.
A hole in one rooms wall was covered over by only wall paper - no wallboard.

Memphis Airport Hotel & Conference Center was formerly a Holiday Inn Select. The former owners did lose the franchise after missing a renovation deadline from the franchise. The hotel has an 80% complete renovation. The current owner took possession in late July and has plans to complete and enhance the renovation plans.
The hotel does have a few smoking rooms...

If you are looking for a place with no bathroom lights, non working tv, hard bed, and a very rude atmosphere.........this is the place to be.

Old, beat up property. The staff was very good, however, including front desk, restaurant and van driver. Delta needs to move upscale!
