The price per night is significantly higher than neighboring hotels. I stayed one night at the Hampton Inn and Suites next store and I had a much better experience with a larger room and free breakfast than I did at the Peabody for half the price. In addition, the Peabody charged me $62 to receive four small boxes that were... More

I've stayed in 3 hotels in Memphis since January for personal and business travel and this was my favorite overall but it was close to The Madison. First the areas of Opportunity: (1) No upgrade even with availability. I was staying several nights in an upgraded executive floor room. Due to weather I came in a day early and was... More

We booked a room on the 12th floor, which is the private "club" floor and it is well worth the extra charge. The concierge our first night, Linda was wonderful! The hotel is beautiful and the lobby is gorgeous with an old style bar, piano player and the famous duck march. There is a lot of activity in the hotel... More

Me and my family stayed here on the way home from Wichita. We were amazed by the room! This is a beautiful hotel the lobby was amazing! The staff were all very helpful with directions and all of our needs. My eight year old daughter loved watching the world famous Peabody ducks. I was really surprised at how quiet the... More

We stayed her for two night and the property is wonderful. If you want to see the ducks make sure and arrive early or you will not be seeing them. The room was a little on the small size for the price and the walls are paper thin. The employees were super nice and very helpful. The bathroom was tiny... More

My favorite part of the entire hotel is the beautiful lobby. One evening I just sat there in an old, comfortable chair and "people watched" while listening to a sweet lady play tune after tune on the baby grand without any music in front of her. She must have known a thousand songs! She could play and carry on a... More

We arrived to stay for five nights. The room is ridiculously small, the chair worn and shabby, and the worst is the bathroom! There is literally NO WHERE to even put a toothbrush, let alone toiletries. It does appear to have been updated in terms of fixtures, etc., but they could have done a lot more to make the room.... We had been planning our Graceland vacation for months, and staying at the Peabody was exceptional. As guests we had free/early admission to a rooftop concert event. When we left for our dinner reservations later in the evening, there were still lines to get up to the roof. Their Italian Steakhouse served the most sumptuous cuisine. Room service fabulous. Everyone... More

Beautiful historic hotel with all the modern amenities, great food and of course, the ducks are adorable! The bellmen and waitstaff were friendly and helpful and the retail shops had some great souvenirs. Also, the hotel is just ta block away form Beale Street and all of the wonderful blues and jazz clubs and restaurants and a lot of shopping.... More

The Peabody is a grand old hotel. It was been nicely decorated, but is still old. The bathrooms are very small with NO counter space and poor lighting. The tile grout was stained (nothing a little bleach wouldn't fix) and the shower curtain had a mildew odor. I arrived by car and there was no one ..not bellman or valet... More
