If you want or need to use Wi-Fi service this is not the hotel for you. Prices are steep so it seems like the services ought to be readily available. Though they require a service fee which includes Internet service, the service was weak at best and unavailable at worst. No satisfaction and no service fee refund.

I recently moved from AZ to MD and stayed at The Peabody in Memphis along the way. We got a great last-minute rate. The hotel is beautiful, and the room we stayed in was lovely. The bed was perfect! I will definitely return here for a longer stay. Great place in a great location.

I love the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. Everyone is so kind there and the hotel rooms are so luxurious. My Grandma Fanny hasn't been such a shut in since her husband Richard passed away and they sold their farm. Not only did she lose her soulmate but she misses her animals dearly. So I flew her to Memphis with me... More

From the moment we pulled into the parking area, we knew we would love this hotel. The hotel is very clean. Everything seemed in order. The only complaint I would have with this hotel is that the guests that were going to the roof top were treated better than the regular guests. We had an incident on the elevator with... More

Preface: I understand at a boutique establishment with a focus on service, everyone needs to be paid. I also understand the need to cover the expenses associated with maintaining a historic hotel. That said... My husband & I have both wanted to stay at the Peabody for years. What better way than to have the eldest grand (age 11) be... More

We loved this hotel in Memphis. We stayed following a cruise on The Mississippi and the old time opulence was refreshing. The lobby gets very crowded twice a day to watch The March of the Ducks is cute but a bit overrated as the ducks can be seen all day swimming in their pond all day anyway. We tried to... More

Charming hotel in downtown Memphis with loads of historical value, shops and even "marching ducks"! Service is too notch and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable! Only issue is bathrooms are small but given that it is a historical building, they worked well with what was given. Highly recommend.

The Peabody. Same old beautiful hotel. Same old ducks. Same old unbeatable hospitality. Same old comfortable room. Same old gorgeous lobby/bar. Same old good martini. Same old same old. After all, why mess with perfection? We had bought the B&B package so had a nice breakfast buffet before heading out. Always sorry to leave. A good night's rest at the... More

Everything I read on this site about this hotel was true. It's lovely. It's old school. It's the story of Memphis all rolled up in a city block. The club level was excellent. Loved the all night access to cookies and milk. Loved the continental breakfast. Loved the private concierge up there. And what about the ducks!! The Duck Master... More

I have had several stays at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis. While this is an older hotel, the charm and service make up for the lack of amenities. The rooms are big and comfortable. Try to get a room at the end of the hallway away from the elevators. Much more quiet. The twice daily duck "parade" is a must... More
