I am a frequent business and leisure traveler and upon my first stay (and last stay) at the Peabody, I was quite let down. Upon check in, the valet was slammed and seemed to be very unorganized in checking in cars. Upon checking into the room, I was fast to find that common areas and rooms are aging and in... More

My wife and I visited the hotel to have drinks and watch the duck parade. i went because my wife wanted to go, but was reluctant. Boy...was I wrong. The drinks were fantastic, the service was super, and duck parade was very entertaining. It is nice to see traditions maintained and the duck parade is very special at this hotel.... More

The hotel and rooms are spotless, which is an evidence for the price we paid. The rooms are a bit small. The march of the ducks is cute and draws a lot of attention. It's a bit of a shame that the (paid $18) self-park is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel through a maze of corridors. The neighbouring... More

This is a wonderfull hotel and a relief from all the straight concrete hotels you can find anywhere else. History can be found in any corner of the hotel and the ducks are the real star guests, an attraction on itselfs with star arrogance of the duck themselves. Rooms are a bit dated in terms of size (especially bathroom) but... More

I've visited the Peabody many times through the years to see the duck march, but just recently had the chance to stay at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in downtown Memphis, only a few minutes walk from Beale Street. The hotel lobby is adquately sized with a wrap around Mezzanine that allows viewing of the... More

If you can afford the experience this is a wonderful place to stay. We unfortunately only had one evening to lap up the luxury in this beautiful hotel. We witnessed both the coming and going of ducks, visited their rooftop suite, explored the historic ballrooms, and had a wonderfully relaxing experience in our huge king suite room. Definitely a gem... More

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. You feel like you are truly immersed in history. The ducks are amusing to watch and are surprisingly right in the lobby. I really enjoyed this hotel, and would have more than likely not have enjoyed Memphis at all if it were not for this hotel. More

Just stayed at the Peabody this past weekend for our daughters graduation. They were at max capacity. The hotel is in good condition and well kept for a historic hotel (sometimes means aged and past its prime-not so here). Rooms are well appointed. Lobby bar is a must see. Great place to have a drink and people watch. The Peabody... More

You could sit in the lobby of the Peabody, enjoying a delicious cocktail from the lobby bar, and watch the world go by. The night we stayed there, we saw the following: a college baseball team (in uniform), a bride and groom (in gown and tuxedo), a high school music group, guests at a benefit ball upstairs and every manner... All of our planning paid off with what turned out to be a very productive meeting. It was such a relief to enter every meeting room and see that... More
