Not a budget stay, but the Peabody is well worth the price for a a relaxing, efficient and fun place to stay. The ducks and their marching may sound a bit silly, but it's my kind of silly. They are a lot of fun and I really like how they draw the kids close and let them be part of... More

My wife and I went to Memphis to see the sites and visit Beale Street. We chose the Peabody based on reviews we read. We loved the hotel and the atmosphere. The lobby seemed to be full of Energy all day. We had the opportunity to watch the duck march, it was really neat and fun. The hotel is fairly... More

This is my second time in Memphis, during my first visit I avoided the Peabody because I thought it was just a big old hotel, I was wrong. I wish I would have stayed here the first time I visited the city. I am comparing the Peabody to the Madison where I stayed the first trip. My room was an... More

Just passing through Memphis on the way to Oklahoma. This seems to be the nicest place in the whole city. A block away from Beale st. And just a few minutes walk/drive to anything else doing in Memphis you cannot get much better in terms of location. Staff is friendly, room was clean. Check out the duck parade, like the... More

I haven't stayed at the Peabody, but the ducks are a must-see ... even if you don't have small children. Their Grand March is quite something! They also have great shopping and a large, elegant bar in the lobby. They offer rooftop concerts on Thursday - great way to unwind before the weekend.

If you're into historic hotels, The Peabody is the one to visit. There is so much history, so many beautiful and unique architectural features, awesome shopping, and the procession of the ducks is a true delight. I absolutely love this hotel. If I'm ever in Memphis again, I will definitely come back and enjoy the lobby bar's signature drink: The... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during a multi-city trip to the U.S. Location is great as it's very central and from the front exit of the hotel it's only 2 streets (towards the back of the hotel) to Beale Street with its multiple bars, restaurants and music places. On arrival the concierge were very helpful and attended to all... More

The Hotel building and lobby are quite grand and, of course, the ducks are a treat especially for the younger ones. Stayed on the Club Level Floor which included complimentary breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, and nightly desserts. The breakfast consisted of decent continental style offerings, while the evening hors d'oeuvres were fairly sparse compared to other hotels of similar class.... More

We were taking a 7 night Mississippi cruise on the American Queen so we came in a day early and stayed at the Peabody. What a gorgeous hotel. We had a corner room which was huge. Only downside--the bathroom is TINY!! But there is a large foyer, so figure that one out???

We came off the American Queen and arrived at The Peabidy which is literally a five minute taxi ride away. We included this hotel as a half way stop as part of a month long trip to the USA and it was for me one of the most eagerly anticipated stays. To say that the check in reception was poor,... More
