The owners here proudly display their great rating from Trip Advisor and they deserve it. The rooms are very clean and the owners really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Next time we're in Memphis, we stay here again. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and fantastic value. What's not to love?

We almost decided to scrap our reservation when we drove up to the motel -- It just didn't look inviting or safe. Am I glad we didn't! We ended up staying there a week, and were quite happy with the accommodations. The staff was friendly, the rooms large and newly renovated, the beds comfortable, the TV and internet worked fine.... The place was clean and the best price available. The wifi didn't work, and the free breakfast was basically just a cooler with yogurt and a rack of processed baked goods, but I don't think much else could be expected. I was satisfied.

They proudly display their very good trip advisor ratings for the last two years at the front reception. The welcome wasn't warm, but the rating is well deserved for the comfort and quality of the accommodation. Slightly out of town, but easily walkable for the fit. A very nice stay and at a good price.

I have been staying here for several years during road trips that take me through Memphis. Large, clean, comfortable rooms in the Medical District, just a mile or two for an easy commute to Beale Street and downtown for entertainment and dining. Convenient to the freeway, but also quiet neigborhood. I will continue to stay here. Oh, and my wife... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our road trip. The location is convenient to downtown, about 5 minute drive, 2 blocks off Union Ave which is a main east-west street. Between the hotel and Union is the Methodist University Hospital so there are people in the area 24 hours per day but does not disturb you at the Rodeway... More

great place to stay in Memphis. Others mentioned this as sketchy neighborhood, I thought it was fine. The Historic Garden area a few blocks away had some amazing Bungalows, a must see that did not make any of the tour guides.

I booked this room via Priceline and when I originally looked at the reviews and honestly, when I saw it was a Rodeway Inn, I was skeptical. My fiance convinced me to stay optimisitic... Upon arrival, I wasn't the happiest camper...it looked dated and driving to the Rodeway Inn, it appeared to be in a bad neighborhood. Once we had... More

When we arrived at the motel (admittedly reasonably early at around 3pm) we rang a bell on the receptionist desk and waited. And waited. And waited. It took a good 15 minutes for someone to come check us in! The motel is old and run down and definitely needs renovation. There's no elevators (a pain when trying to get to... More

I made reservations to stay at this hotel two-three weeks prior to the date. Upon arrival, the front guest clerk said that they couldn't get my credit card to go through for the pre-approval and they had cancelled my reservation. No one had bothered to call or email me to confirm card number or get an alternate card. I was... More
