VERY friendly staff, lemonade and cookies at check in. People falling all over us to get a luggage cart, directions, etc. A great hotel off the highway. A little deceiving when you drive in...it looks like an abandoned parking lot. You just have to go around the backside to get the front entrance. I was told the "back" parking lot... more

This hotel is definitely a nice place to stay for a weekend trip in Memphis. The rooms are nice and the location is convenient to anything you would want to do in the Memphis area. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was a typical Fairfield breakfast, but the area which... more

My family and I stayed our first night at the REd roof inn (I do not recommend staying there) the next day we called around looking for better accomidations and we found them in this hotel. My cousin brought 4 kids and I brought my son and three two year olds and two one year olds are anything but quiet... more

We were looking for a simplistic, affordable hotel in Memphis for a weekend retreat from our hometown and this one fit the bill. After reading the reviews, I was impressed that this location would be a solid choice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very helpful person at the front desk. After asking what type of room (king), floor... more

We stayed here on a weekend trip with family. We needed three adjoining rooms (children in party) which they would not guarantee when we booked the rooms, but I found out that this is standard (if irritating) with virtually all chains. At check-in they were very accommodating and we got the rooms we needed. My family (two adults, two kids)... more

September 3, 2007 stay: This Fairfield Inn was the least expensive when I checked in with the prepaid option. Though its location is a little off, I thought it was cozy and effective. It is located at the end of the stretch with several other hotels/motels on the low to mid range, and getting on/off the expressway was easy. The... more

The entire staff was very friendly. Perhaps they read the previous revue but when we were there they could not have been any friendlier. After we checked in I asked the staff for a suggestion on good Memphis BBQ and they printed out directions for me to Corky's. The directions made it comfortable to drive off and not feel like... more

Very good bed and linens in the king room. Make sure you request a room on the SOUTH side of the building. The north side is very close to I-40. There are several restaurants nearby for breakfast; Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, etc. Gas stations, too. Only negatives -- The parking lot is mostly on the back, north side. It is... more

The hotel staff was friendly. The pool was well heated, rooms were clean, beds were typical, breakfast was fresh. Only complaint was the shower could have been a bit warmer. All else was great! more
