Andrew and Joy provide wonderful accommodations away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns. The location is quiet, the grounds beautifully kept and the rooms neat, spacious and nicely appointed. Breakfast was delicious each morning. They even packed a take away brunch for us on our early "isle of Skye" day. Andrew is a wealth of information for those... More

We stayed at the Craigard Guest House for one night while hiking the Great Glen Way. Andrew picked us up at our end point and drove us to the B&B. It's a stunning house with a great history. Joy and Andrew were absolutely lovely hosts. We hadn't arranged to eat dinner with them but they were absolutely lovely in coming... More

Stayed here during my end to end cycle. Warmly welcomed. The hosts are very lovely people. They kindly stored my bike in a safe place. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good, clean and powerful shower. Reliable strong free wifi. Has a piano if you wish to play! I very much enjoyed my stay. Would recommend and return. Thank... More

I stayed 4 nights in Craigard while on a hillwalking trip. The guest house was a really beautiful victorian building and the owners were very friendly and helpful. My room met all my needs and more, a hot bath after walking up the hills was bliss. My bed was very comfortable. The food at morning & evening times was very... More

We stayed at Craigard Guesthouse for one night and had a lovely stay. Our en-suite room was very clean and had all the toiletries you need. The owners were very helpful when it came to planning the next day. Unfortunately we didn't realise we should give notice whether we want to eat in, so we had to go to the... More

This B&B is conveniently located in Invergarry, a great location for exploring the southern end of Loch Ness. I don't know when the property was built but it has a Victorian feel. Our two rooms were large and comfortable. It was obvious that the bathrooms had been added at some point to make the rooms en-suite, so the shower and... More

This is at least my second review of Craigard House, I first stayed in 2008, and it remains as good as ever. I use it as a base for cycling, particularly to Kinloch Hourn and Arnisdale (the latter with car assistance) but there's also some great walking and the lovely nearby town of Fort Augustus which has a charm all... We had originally booked into this B&B, but had to change our plans and move the dates forward at short notice. The hosts, Andrew and Joy were very accommodating and more than helpful. The B&B is in a great location from which to explore either Skye, Kintail or Knoydart to the west or Loch Ness or the Great Glen to... More

Very genuine atmosphere with an extremely pleasant host, polite and talkative The house from the outside is very nice but inside accomodations are a bit cheap and most of all dusty Bathroom was the oldest we met in the whole tour of 15 days Dinner was simple but tasty and good value-for-money Overall it was ok but a bit low-budget...
