7 guys,7 tents and motirbikes and made very welcome. The journey alone from Fort Bill to the campsite is stunning. Got there and made very welcome, price ok for area but worth every penny when you see the beach and views. Good facilities and secure. Going back in August with the car to spend 2 nights at a very beautiful... More

Really nice, friendly, family run campsite. The pitches are in a lovely field, with a sea view if you look hard. Good shop on site which does fabulous coffee. A real highlight though is the wonderful camusdarach beach, just a couple of minutes walk away from where you pitch the tent. We spent a wonderful evening looking out on a... More

We have just returned from Camusdarach after staying for a week. Our pitch was level, dry and well sheltered but still had a view of the beach. The owners are so friendly and helpful and create a laid back and friendly atmosphere on the site. The toilets were always clean and there was a seemingly endless supply of hot water.... More

Whist this is nice site it is not ideal for accessing the beach with a kayake as advertised. This was main reason that we picked this site and we ended up having to find another launch site, there is a grass track to the beach but I would not take my car on it. There are not enough toilets/showers for... More

I'm sorry you had difficulty getting to the beach with your kayak - it's not something that's ever been an issue for any of the kayakers who regularly visit our site. Some people do find the key system a little inconvenient - however most people understand it is a necessary evil. We do clean the loos 3 or 4 times... More

Had a week camping. gorgeous setting, vile midges. Queues for loos and the showers often. Daft key system for loos - only one per tent which does not work with mixed sex group. Please get a key pad set up like lots of campsites have. Friendly staff but never saw them after booking in. Easy to find. Good size pitches.... More

My partner and I visited this campsite last year and found the site fantastic value for money. The toilet and shower facilities are kept constantly clean by the owners who are extremely friendly and helpful. They will freeze any ice blocks, give maps for local places, charge your mobile phone and also provide the whole campsite with WiFi, everything all... More

Just back from a lovely stay at Camusdarach Campsite. The location is just perfect - sheltered from the elements by trees and a very short stroll to an absolutely stunning beach. The owners were very welcoming and the little shop fantastic; selling freshly baked rolls and croissants each morning. They even had a bistro quality coffee maker for fab takeaway... More

Thank you for bringing the noisy door by pitch one to our attention - we're altering the closing mechanism to ensure all doors in the facilities block close quietly. Val and Jonny More

We visited on the May bank holiday weekend and this campsite was simply perfect. The welcome from the owners was tremendous, they secured the plot we wanted (with instruction on their system of " do not move"), the wee shop was lovely and also served as a bit of a 'hang out' to chat to others. As the sign said... More

This is our family's favourite campsite. We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter weekend, had a couple of nights on Skye, then decided to return for a further 3 nights. The location is beautiful, quiet and safe. The site itself is sheltered by woodland, and is only a couple of minutes walk from the most amazing beaches, and the... More
