Spent two nights at Camusdarach in April. Lovely setting just minutes walk through woodland and sand dunes to lovely silver sand beach. The weather was windy and the site did feel exposed at times.. The showers and toilet block are being refurbished and will be wonderful when finished. The owner was very apologetic and gave us a 20% discount. We... More

Visited for the Long Easter weekend-The owners could not have been more accommodating & helpful- We even woke on Easter Sunday to find an Easter Egg- courtesy of Camusdarach!. Stunning location, and really chilled ambiance about the place. Ideal for canoe/kayak/swimming on the safe silver sandy beaches just behind the site along a path. Cycling is a must too, as... More

Stayed here for a week in august. It was absolutely beautiful. The family that run the site are lovely and cant do more for you. They keep the place spotless. Its only a short walk away from the most beautiful beach ive ever seen. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic location and warm and cheerful welcome from Valerie and Johnny who couldn't do enough for us . We stayed in the apartment which was very comfortable and a stones throw from fantastic beaches. Doggie was made welcome . I will be back with Campervan to stay on the campsite next year.

We spent a week here. With a warm welcome. Lovely sheltered site near to a beautiful beach. All three of our labradors, Denver Peppa and Treacle thoroughly enjoyed it. The site was busy but is such a good size it doesn't feel that way. The pizza also lives up to its reputation. Well worth the ten hour journey. ....Thanks for... More

Lovely campsite! £22 for 1 night for my wife and I, car and tent. Lovely spot by the beach. Clean shower block, free wifi and very nice staff - we recommend the egg & bacon roll and 'real' coffee they do there - better than a cafe and a lot cheaper. Also, very quiet - no busy road nearby to... More

This is a lovely place. Beaches are amazing and johnny who runs the place is kind and helpful. Lending us a powercable as this is the first time we had camped in 25 years. The facilities were clean and well kept and there was a hot water sink for washing your dishes as well as a free standing fresh water... More

Well maintained campsite, great space for tents with a safe family atmosphere. Owners & staff friendly & helpful at any time. More toilets & shower facilities would be a welcomed improvement. Out of this world views of the isles.

Just back from our 6th Summer @ Camusdarach campsite . As always we found it a fantastic place to rest and recharge our batteries . The beaches are truly breathtaking and often we were the only people there . If you want to experience some of Scotland's best views and sunsets Camusdarach is the place to be . A mention... More

What a welcome! We arrived fairly late in the afternoon and didn't know what to expect as the site felt more like a private dwelling as opposed to the usual standard site with reception on entrance. On arrival, I jumped out of our motorhome and was immediately met by a lovely smiley chap (Johnny) who shouted my name (I hadn't... More
