You walk through the front door and enter a traditional Victorian hunting lodge, a roaring log fire, large sofas and a warm welcome. Ledgowan Lodge is a family run business. The team are clearly passionate about the building and providing a high level of customer satisfaction. The interior of the building is maintained to one of the highest standards we... More

Stopped there, whilst enroute from Skye to Inverness, for tea and biscuits. Very welcoming staff, awesome surroundings that make one feel like being a Laird... Had the luck to have a bright and sunny day that made the Hotel look like a jewel box.

Remote Highland hotel on a wet midweek evening in December..... Wonderful atmosphere, roaring fires and welcomed warmly in the bar for a drink. Good real ale and hospitable host. Will definitely return to eat and hopefully stay next time we are in the area. It's so fantastic that they understand the importance of maintaining high standards of customer service even... More

We have stayed here now on three or four occasions and it is always a delight to return. We always go in winter when it is quiet and as long as you are comfortable with the peace and quiet of the Scottish highlands then this is the place for you. From parking your car outside on day 1 to leaving... More

We stopped for a cuppa and scone en route from Ullapool to Fort William and loved the place. Charming staff, lovely hotel, and a great setting. The tea and scones were good! Looks a fantastic place to stay if we can only work a trip out to include it!

Wow - if you get the chance to stay here grab it with both hands. It is beautiful in a breathtaking way. Room was superb, bed super comfy, linen perfect. En suite well appointed but the wee soap - a lovely touch. Bar meal was delicious - Cullen Skink so tasty. Breakfast absolutely no faults - plenty choice and BIG... More

Arriving in the spectacular entrance hall of this former hunting lodge takes ones breath away; it is a lovely building and someone has taken the trouble to furnish it in period. The room was large and comfortable. The small staff were as pleasant and helpful as they could be. What let it down was the food; for dinner I chose... More

We were looking for a quiet location from where we had options to explore the Highlands and beyond, depending on weather. Travelling as a couple, with bikes, we enjoyed a comfortable 4-day B&B break in a spacious room with superb bathroom (had to ask how to use the swanky new whirlpool bath with coloured lights, which was an added luxury)....
