Nether Barr Steading is set just off the road and a few minutes drive from Newton Stewart. Set in 15 acres of farm land Nether Barr Steading is a beautiful converted barn divided into self catering lodges and a restaurant. We stayed in the Hay Loft, a large two bed (double and twin) with beautiful views over the hillside and river Cree.

The Lodge consists of an open plan kitchen/diner/living room with ample space. The lounge has a large window looking out over the fields and river Cree. We kept the curtains open until complete darkness as the views were breathtaking (see pictures).

Upstairs there is a huge landing big enough to store your luggage, and whatever else you have! The bathroom is a good size as are the two bedrooms.
